Kishi screwed Kakashi?

I mean all this hype about him like he copied over a thousand jutsu but only seems to use like 3 total. Even before he obtained the sharingan, wasn't he a Jonin. He was a Jonin at the age of 13. He was also in the ANBU black ops. I mean after all these years, shouldn't he be like dominating everyone now. He should be like a freaking God by now. He should at least be strong enough to be in the Legend tier but I think it's just bad writing by Kishi.

I mean Kakashi was probably stronger than Naruto and Sasuke were at their age since he was a Jonin (discounting Curse Mark and Nine-Tailed Cloak), but the thing that really gets me is Naruto progressed more since the beginning of Shippuden until now than Kakashi has in like 17 years. That is just madness.

I mean Kakashi was considered the best of his generation when he was younger. He worked hard at what he did. I mean he basically looked like a fodder ninja against Pain and here comes Naruto, mastering Sage Mode in a fraction of the time it took Jiraiya to learn it, plus Jiraiya didn't even master it.

I just think Kishi is screwing Kakashi here out of his what should be potential, skills, and abilities. What do you guys think?

I think we have yet to see Kakashi's full powers.... But dont underrate him. I mean after all, he did save Naruto's life ! ! ! !

I think Kakashi is doing fine, its normal for him to have lost to pain, even Naruto came close to losing. He wasn't able to do much against pain but he is evenly matched against most of the other Akatsuki members. Anyway Kakashi doesn't have that kind of drive to be the greatest ninja in the world, if he did then he wouldn't be wasting his time as a teacher. Adding more he is proving his strength in the war very well, his division won against the swordsmen and now he is fighting alongside Naruto, Bee and Guy against all those tailed beasts, what more do you want? Plus Kakashi has passed on his knowledge to Naruto and Sasuke, they wouldn't be where they are now without him.

Look at his fight against Zabuza... He had, for the most part, to protect his team against a legendary swordsman. And in the war he had to go up against all of them. Also, he showed he can go toe to toe with akatsuki when he fought Kakuzu. With pain there wasn't much he could do. Even Jiraya died at the hands of pain. Also, Kishi wanted to show Kakashi reuniting with his dad.

Maybe later Naruto and Sasuke and other characters will stop improving after a certain time, but Kakashi doesnt have so much chakra + he has improved a lot I think (mangekyou, rasengan, ) in the beginning of shipuuden when he fought naruto and sakura he demonstrated his abilities quite well.

Kishi seems to value characters spamming giant meteors more than upgrading the few characters who've shown pure skill and not ridiculous OPness.

IMO, Kakashi is one of the few realistic and best shinobi Kishi has created. I mean, a ninja through and through. He doesn't wear ridiculous orange clothes or barges in a Kage Summit like a moron. It's all Rasengan-this and Amaterasu-that if you look at other characters, DBZ-style, in a manga that's supposed to be about ninjas. You know, those stealthy motherfuckers :\

He really deserves to get powered up more.

If you think about it, Kakashi is ridiculously overpowered with his Kamui. It's the strongest Jutsu right after Tobi's absorbing. If Kakashi would keep practice his Kamui's aim, he could instantly suck up peoples heads and they wouldn't even expect it.

The name of the Show is "Naruto Shippuden". Kakashi has been everything from elite shinobi to Hokage candidate. He has over 1000 jutsus. He held his own against tailed beasts. He also hasnt received any more powerups since the Sharigan, this is why I like him so much.

FYI... He also has power that is NOT being shown in this war. He just went on a massacre on the 7 swordsmen, Kishi just didnt have manga time to show us his feats from the war so far. Watch for the Anime episodes, you'll see his BAD@$$ERY!!!

I agree kakashi is underrated by kishi himself. No character should have this much hype and shown such little progress. Although he was supposed to be hokage and he is defenitely improved from vs zabuza i am out of chakra and pass out after two moves to vs kakuzu lightning edge six times and sharingan in one day with no hospital visits. yaa!!
