I was so engrossed in this chapter for the first few pages. Everything was going great. madara's thinking behind his plan was sound and entertaining, but then... obito.

Now, yes we all know i hate obito, but let's take a moment to look at this.

- Madara comes with this idea of implementing the sage's original ideals of connecting everyone's chakra together, through genjutsu, so that they can understand each other. He plans on doing this with his power, which is stronger than everyone's elses, causing no one to be able to rebel. madara wants to connect everyone

- Naruto doesn't know what the **** he wants.

- Madara wants everyone to stand as comrades near each other, like equals.

- naruto wants to stand infront of everyone as a leader.


Obito then decides to continue to follow the goddamn idiot with a non-existent dream, instead of the guy with a solid plan which was inspired by the sage of six paths.
Obito decides to follow the idiotic class clown, who knows absolutely nothing about anything, instead of following the guy who knows everything up to the creation of chakra.

Now, I understand obito's little speech in the last panel "you don't step on your comrades". But, so what? That's just madara being a ****. Does that stop his planning from being a solid one? no. In any ****ing case, obito god damn BETRAYED him. WHAT THE **** did obito expect???? Oh, obito, you didn't revive me and you decided to be a ***** about everything i've done for you? Go on, I totally won't harm you on anything to fullfil my plan.

at the end of the day, obito is a god damn idiot. The guy saved your life. You should have been dead. You couldn't even repay him that simple favor and go spend time with your precious rin. Instead, you follow some jackass with no plans but a big mouth.

NV will turn america "vote for me obito. Change we can believe in!" 8 years later, obito will still be waiting as not a god damn thing changes.

Madara betrayed him by putting black rods in him? Lmfao. The black rod was what obito was supposed to use to revive him. The purpose of it being in him was for the day of madara's revival, which is something madara let obito on. So i don't know where you get that from.

Furthermore, why should obito survive? Madara was the one that gave him another 20 years of life by melding zetsu to him, allowing him to recouperate in his batcave, and giving him a cause to fight for so that he wouldn't just off himself.
Now, madara's a bad guy because obito may or may not die??? So, If i save you from getting hit by a train(save your life), then tell you to repay me later on by saving mine(revive me), but instead you decide to run me over with your own car(blatantly tell me you're not doing shit for me and won't revive me), i'm somehow now the ass hole?

That changes nothing. Just about everyone in the manga has said that they want to be hokage, yet no one follows them. everyone follows naruto for no conceivably good reason. He just continues to talk shit with no idea what he's doing.

Pain: "I will create peace through fear, how will you, naruto?"
Naruto: "I don't know. I will become hokage. peace. Dattebayo"
Pain: "Ok. I'll follow you. I know you can get this done"

^^ This is the script everyone else follows. Except their initial movites is different than pain's.

The only person who really has a reason to follow naruto is gaara because at least naruto gave him a sound argument to convert him to the grand church of naruto.

I'm still excited to see an Obito vs Madara fight considering Obito is probably the second strongest character at the moment, even though I know that Obito will most likely lose since Madara is still the final villain. Obito will most likely team up with Naruto and the rest of the alliance.
