And they are sent to die as soon as they've done what they had to do, if their death is tragic enough to bring a meaning to the series.

Just like Jiraya going on a suicide mission as soon as Naruto is trained enough to go on his own...

It's kind of like in Skyrim where every NPC that is required for the plot is marked as "essential" and can't die no matter what you throw at him, so that it doesn't mess up the game.

In Naruto, the Konoha 11 + Sasuke are basically the essentials..

Obviously Jiraya didnt think it was a suicide mission if he went. Nor when Tsunade assigned him to it. Jiraya died but he gave information to Konoha of Pain. Since he died it gave Naruto a better reason to fight. They dont die for no reason fool. U_U

I agree with what they say but no naruto hasnt become a dbz like because for one thing you see madara and hes still kicking ass compared to the other characters madara has been known as a god now the thing i dont like is that no name characters have been dieing but you dont see no important characters die. Now for Sasuke he has been my favorite character and always will be and whether or not how this show will end its still have a good plot.
Now you cant judge on how the show/manga is going to end because if anything kishi could pull a twist and make both character sasuke and naruto die or make sasuke kill naruto and changes sasuke view on the world because of the lost of a friend. It can always change and some prove watch code geass when you actually see the hole name it has the main characters name in the title and the main character ends up dieing at the end so the title doesnt really matter. So anything can happen just the only thing that i dont like is that no important character have really died in this war yet and if they get rid of madara without him takin out at least one of the kages then i will be kinda disappointing.

Am I the only one who, by now, only reads the manga because it would be too bad to quit after going through all of it?

And for this precise reason : all the great characters have died. Most of the shinobi left alive for the war are boring, except for a few.

I mean ok, Madara + Tobi, Naruto, Kabuto and the Kages, they may have cool jutsu. But what do they fight for, besides "peace" and "world domination"?

Jiraya, Itachi, Nagato, Konan, the Akatsuki, Orochimaru, Hiruzen, and who else.. most of which died because the plot required them to. They had their individual beliefs and were much less generic than the remaining ones.

We all know that Madara and Tobi will be done by a main-character no jutsu even though they're completely overpowered by now. And we also all know the plot between Naruto and Sasuke will end exactly like Goku and Vegeta in Dragonball Z. This isn't Sasuke Shippuden.

also they are suppsoed to become over pwoered end of the manga equals epic fight and for the fight to be epic enough the people fighting need to be Op as hell

Naruto has always been good. yes kishi has made mistakes like how did hiruzen defeat hashirama and tobirama if they are so strong, but who doesn't make mistakes. kishi still had teh deceit naruto vs kakazu he fooled him with shadow clones. and as we reach the end of the manga people want to see epic world shattering fights for us thats madara vs five kages. just enjoy the manga your reading for free and like it or stop reading doesn't affect kihsi he's not making money off of you anyway since you read his manga online for free which is illegal :| we're lucky to read it at all i have enjoyed every chapter just because i loved the seris so much. i don't go

In part 1 all the enemies were overpowered but then the main characters overcame them with training, hard work, struggling as well as plot no jutsu. People need to grow up and evolve their powers. Minato is overpowered but no one ever complains about him or takes anything away from him during vs battles while they take away something the uchihas are born with. My point is that you have to be better than the last generation. And in DBZ the new generation was weaker than the old generation.
