For me tobirama lost his hype when I believed he was killed by the ginkaku force. Hiruzen still better than tobirama. How can madara break edo tensei but oro was able to control tobirama twice with it. If hiruzen is hype so is tobirama

Orochimaru was controlling them and he had hashirama's dna to strengthen the bind on them hashirama walking around having not broke the edo tensei is more of a feat than madara who had almost full control if not full to cancel it.

Though the fact that the only Jutsu Tobirama has used this far in part two is so destructive has me hopeful of what's to come.

Tobimaru created everything. Face it. You have nothing on him. You try to criticize his proficiency in water manipulation that you are overlooking his skills. Example, in the fight against Orochimaru and Hurizen, and Orochimaru revive Tobimaru and Hashirama using Edo Tensei, when Hurizen spew a fire attack, Tobimaru counter with a water barrier and water shock wave using the same water source he spat out. Those two Jutsu alone are consider high level because the chakra knead for the technique and volume of water it produce.

Kishi began rewriting the expectations for him when Minato fought Obito. Before that most people associated him with water. I kinda hate Kishi didn't build on that and let Minato keep the S/T stuff to himself. He got owned by the Kin Gin bros, Kinkaku force, Obito, and now Madara.

His only documented win was against Izuna as a sneak attack.

Water Dome was made by merging with Samehada. No one said he uses Sution through Samehada. If you take water dome out, Mei and Kisame are equal. I find Mei to be more versatile through her Dragon-Suiton move. It literally moved at her will. You can't read even if your life depended on it, can you?

Tobirama who was being restricted from his potential, Was less than half powered and was being controlled as a moving corpse managed to create a suiton from thin air and impressed orochimaru and The anbu fodder.

That's quite a feat if you ask me.

Remember how fodder Hashirama looked back in part 1 compared to part 2 war arc hashi? Well same goes for tobirama.

Tobirama is severely underrated here.
