Kishi might pull a soul eater

The way I see this going is since everyone finally saw how Naruto truly felt, a burst of inspiration will come across the alliance. They will all try their best to cut down the tree and there are two roads that could be taken.

1. They try their hardest but obito just kills all the fodder off and the flower blooms...

2. They try but their efforts are of no good use.

Then the flower blooms but they don't give up. They may find a way to keep the genjutsu from spreading to widely or something like that. Naruto jumps in unselflishly then Sasuke then Sakura. They keep fighting in the hopeless situation and in the end Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are left to fight for everyones' sake. They all use their ultimate forms which were thought to eat up too much charkra but with Sakura their chakra and health is limitless.

I would add more but too lazy; tell me if I should go more in depth.

Nice theory but I don't see Sakura playing a role in the final battle. She doesn't have anything to do with Obito and it would seem kind of weird.

The ending that was actually really good despite all the crap it gets? It was miles better than the manga one, that's for sure.
