What I'd rather him do is show Itachi and Sasuke fending off Kabuto to lead up to Itachi using Izanami for like 5-6 pages (with Itachi giving some background on the jutsu). Then flashback to the Madara fight for 6-7 pages. Then lastly end it with Itachi performing Izanami as a cliffhanger for the following chapter.

A guy can dream though :/

Yeah, this would be ideal. It's so frustrating when you are left hanging when the next chapter switches to another part of the story! But that I suppose that's what keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.
