I think that kishi was so inconsistent with this manga its not even funny. they started off as little rookies in ninja school then he's like, "Dammit this is boring, i want giant battles like dbz" then it went crazy. Land of waves was the best arc in my opinion.

Dude when kakashi introduced how you find your chakra nature it was so simple that they could atleast find out. Imagine for example kibas gatsuuga enhanced with WIND element? That would be op it would benefit all to atleast know their nature.

That's bs sasuke was using fire style since he was six and his second nature lightning which is not from his bloodline when he was 12. All members of the academy were more than old enough to start using elements not neccecarily like a pro.
