Naruto was the one who figured out how to use Hiraishin and Yin/Yang Kurama to save the Shinobi Alliance, despite Minato being the one who mastered Hiraishin and split Kurama in the first place. Naruto is the true savior material, and Minato knows it. It was made obvious when Naruto displayed his BSM and helped Minato find his courage.
