[Discussion] Kishi is planning to start a sci fi manga ....your honest opinions?

Hi guys it has been a while since I posted here. Anyway recently I have come across something really interesting.
On supersayian island there has been a recent interview in which kishimoto said that he will no longer write naruto but rather wants to start a sci fi manga in the future. He said for sure that it will NOT be a weekly manga. He said that the new manga can be an even bigger hit tgan naruto. Can he achieve that?He also said that during the ending of naruto he has already been thinking about the new sci fi manga. That explains why the last chapters of naruto were so different to the beging of naruto.

My opinion is this. I am relieved that kishi is finally done with naruto. I was a big naruto fan since 2007 and yet I could not bring myself to read naruto gaiden because I found It so boring and recycled. So thats good. However will kishi be able to recreate an exciting manga like naruto again? Does he have what it takes? He once wanted to start a mafia manga called mario but dropped it. What is your guys opinion on the matter?

The romance didn't suck.
But,it did not get any real time to develop in the series at all so it was very sudden and in you're face and resolved within a films time span.

I thought naruto was already a sci fi manga considering the last fee chapters were full of giant explosions,meteors, aliens, different dimensions,etc.

Ot: if kishi thinks it'll be better than naruto then I'm guessing he really has a good story planned out. Or he's just bluffing for the views on his new manga. The latter seems more of kishi's style

Odd you say recycled since nothing in the gaiden was ever done in the series.

The ideology of the villain was on a complete different trajectory.

Naruto was a unimpressive manga,becuase the end ruined it completely.

I won't be surprised if he creates a new manga but I doubt it will be that big. You are reading something wrong in that interview. If he is not going to draw a weekly manga ( he is not that young anymore so understandable) it won't have another 700 chapters.

I like to read and he makes them engaging so I will check it out if it's published and available.

I am curious about how determined kishi is with this sci fi peoject. Will he actually proceed with it? He may be rich but hes still 40 so it makes sense that he is not retiting yet.

Kishi is a bad writer. You may want to change your favorite mangako quickly.

What kind of reader reads a bad mangaka's work for 700 chapters and still contemplating reading the next one by the same! And talks about quality of writing while having FT avas. You might want to read something else which interests you enough to talk about it more and leave the rest alone.
