Kishi inspiration for Edo Tensei

I was reading Shaman King and I think I found where Kishi got the idea of Edo Tensei from. But before I say it I may be totally wrong. I don't know the date of the chapter Edo Tensei or the Shaman King chapter with the technique was shown for the first time. So if Kishi came up with the idea himself first then I'm wrong and maybe its the other way around where The Shaman King creator got the idea.

The technqiue I'm talking about is from Shaman King where Ren's sister uses a corpse to put the original person's soul and can control them through a talisman. This is very similar to Edo Tensei. Both use controlled corspes with the original's person soul and they even use talisman.

Could be a coincidence. Or, Edo Tensei and this talisman tech are inspired from the same mythology (Kishi uses a lot of mythology, etc).

this... in inuyasha a there was a witch who reanimated kikyo out of the soil of her grave (edo tensei=dirty soil i think something like that) so yea XD
