That's a really good point. every villain we've had since Pain has simply been manipulated. although the other members of akusiki were manipulated, I don't think they really cared as much.

remember oro? he wasn't manipulated, he did what he wanted and had his own plan and was genuinely evil. oro was a great villain kishi tossed away.
All for the ****ing Uchiha and their crack pot ancestors. I don't dislike the characters, but come on. Why should someone from so long ago even be relevant?

I honestly don't have a problem overall. Its just depends how you interpret the story of the Naruto series. I would have had a problem with it when I was still a naive reader when I just began indulging in the series.

Back then I was into Dragon ball and as kid all I cared about was how OP was the characters. But as I grew older and began indulging more into the anime & manga world I grew as reader. I began this see the beauty in the progression of the story.

For example take Death Note for instance as a kid, I wouldn't have watched it since that time I thought it was boring and wouldn't understand it but few years later I watched it and I dare to say it was better than the Dragon ball series.

As for the Naruto series, I first viewed as a story about ninjas being OP. But looking back, I realized its centered around the cycle of hatred with Ninja as the theme for the characters.

With the latest chapter I must give Kishi credit it was beautifully written and hopefully with get more in-depth story about Kaguya.

Ive always thought the Ootsutsuki family ruined this shit, The reincarnation stuff, Rikudou's random ass brother and moms, pretty much everything that has gone down in the entire series being a ploy to revive the crazy b*tch so she can take some chakra?

Just lame, I mean Naruto is still my shit but eh.
This^ I was ok with the Ootsutsuki family at first but now it feels like they're ruining the story. They feel so out of place with the plot and Kishi's attempt to make me feel bad for that crazy bich Kaguya is just making me start to dislike her.
The last chapter was so lame too. lmao

I actually think this is better then it has been for a while.

Also he can't lose the plot as he has to turn in manuscripts containing large sections of the story line to the editors.

Really this latest chapter explained a lot and filled in a lot of plot holes.

Totally agree with you. In my eyes the manga ended with Obito's defeat an every thing after this has been filler, an alternative 'what if' ending. Because none of it is necessary and none of it is good.

Plus now we have to add ANOTHER person to the manipulating final villain list.

Pain < Nagato < Tobi < Juubi < Madara < Zetsu < Kaguya

are people not bored of this?
You forgot Akatsuki < Pain....

Pretty much this. Sure it answered questions but, it seemed to be done with a whole load of crap. It's really getting off track from Shinobi. This is what happens when too many power-ups are involved. I mean, when was the last time someone died with a Kunai?
That's typical of most Shounen, just look at Shaman King, it went from sword fights to stars being destroyed and black holes.

It's already gone in that direction so there's no helping it but I still enjoy the manga. I believe Kishi should not have explained the origins of Chakra though, he tried to explain EVERYTHING and I think that's a bad idea, it's good to have some mystery and legends in the manga.

Honestly the Next god like shinobi joining the story has ruined it for me... growing up and watching it as a kid I loved the concept of ninja hierachy and knowing that the akatsuki were someone to be feared and stuff.. and the fact that Kishi has made EVERYONE who isnt naruto or sasuke or the god shinobi complete fodder is beyond me... I was seriously jazzed up to see the 5 kage returning but even they dissapointed me :| I just dont like how Kishi has ruined it alll... FAIR enough he told us who black zetsu realy is and how Hashirama detected him in the mountains... but is that REALLY that relevant to me? NOPE. it should have ended in a massive fight between obito, naruto and sasuke and On parrallell Hashirama vs Madara.

And actually have a final fight of naruto vs sasuke WITHOUT their OP power ups.

I Don't know about you lot but I think Kishi has not thought this out one bit... Like wtf? since madara puppeting Obito to now kaguya puppetering Madara to Black zetsu Puppeting everyone!

I dont give a shit about Kaguya, Black zetsu, Ashura, Indra, Hobomoro or Hamura.... All I care about is the actual naruto characters that have been there since the beginning with actual development. In my eyes the So6p should have remained a myth with powers no one could attain.

What's your views?
I agree.... He could of ended the manga a while back without destroying the story.... but that makes less money lol

I'd rather have this than Naruto blindly summoning clones with no rhyme or reason

It's been clear that Naruto and Sasuke zere always a cut above the rest

And tone changes in a story all the time, if it's part of something called "progression"

but I feel as if the problem is it progressed too fat and people haven't gotten used to it

Hence why every freaking wednesday threads like this pop up lol

Yeah fair enough they were always Stronger then the rest... But Sasuke Tanking all those Kage in the summit was amazing and wore him out alot which I rate... But what i DONT like is how now he is able to tank all the previous hokages and has become some god.. same with Naruto... like chill out your just shinobi... Sasuke should of just had EMS and naruto should of just had full kyuubi chakra as his final power up

I agree with this.

Naruto and Sasuke are supposed to be above the rest this has been foreshadowed.

You can't make some people happy. Years ago people complain about not knowing Naruto's family History so Kishi open up and started to tell us. Now they complain its overkill on the Information.
