The kages are some of the worst.

Like honestly all he did was piggy back the right hand people of the previous kage, which is okay I guess, but they are ass characters.

Idc what they did in the war (or what little they did I should say) no props Kishi.

The problem with most series like Naruto and My Hero is the characters, designs, and how they portray them.

If you only make two attractive characters (no homo) such as Naruto and Sasuke then those are the fans you're gonna get.

Part one characters:

Gaara, dude was a freaking scary beast! Loved him, now he's well groomed trash.

Kiba, also a beast... wolf fang, come on man.. and a dog?

Shikamaru was always trash imo.

Neji was by far the second best after sasuke.. went to shit.

Hinata was meh trash, still is.

Ino, meh sasuke chasing trash.

Choji.

Lee was actually cool man.

Shino was just, yeah.

The designs matter. They mean so much, and everyone part one style fitted the characters.

There's so much wrong with Naruto that could of made the series a lot better.

Darui had a little fight with the bros and is more acceptable, but acceptably bland.

I'm not one to complain, but I've been blind to it for so long being a diehard naruto fan in general.

Kurotscuchi is fun lively powerful characters

Gaara just awesome got deep story with him

Chujuro just isn't impressive all away around from power to personality

Yeah, see we can tag on like one or two things and that's it. We know nothing or don't care to know anything else other than those things.

Gaara is the type of development I mean. But doing it now only means filler, which is why I mentioned part 1

We had years with Gaara, I still got a spot for him in my imagination lol but yeah.

Bolt will end up the same way most likely, but since he's the "main" character not as much since they kind of launched him with a movie, but he'll never be as big as Naruto or even konoha 11 until we see a BIG change that gives us feels about him like with Naruto and Sasuke.

When Kishi gave up; I gave up. Every rookie,kage characters potential have been wasted and hopeless that is why when looking at Boruto series; it felt a breath of fresh air when their potential are through the roof plus the next gen characters are new and interesting which can be redeem and that can restart anew after this whole atrocity with Naruto Shitpooden

I gave up after the Pein Arc but some reason i got the urge to read it till the end because there was no way in hell i would let a good amount of years following the series go down the drain.

The biggest problem with the newer Naruto material is that the character development isnt as good/interesting as it was. Newer characters are no where near as well written as Pain, Itachi, Kisame, Tobi, ect.

I dont feel intrigued or attached to any of the new characters, at this point im watching/reading purely because of Sasuke.
