I personally think that Mifune should have been fighting Madara along side the 5 Kage, but the samurai should at least be at this final battle. If Sakura gets to help, I am sure Mifune would be able to as well.

I just noticed he is not even on the battlefield, i think kishi cant keep up with so many characters that he forgets some, another example would be Yamato, i really think he literally forget about that.

I'm going to look for that, but it still doesn't explain Mifune not having any thing to say about what is going on.

If Gai and Kakashi get to fight in this battle than Mifune is strong enough to help.

the samurai are a bit out of place here in the shinobi world , i think he introduced them by mistake during the kage summit ......... it would have been difficult to show their origin and stuff for Kishi hence he's not trying to highlight them much.

I find it upsetting that Mifune doesn't get to help but Sakura does. Is Sakura really going to jump up to Kage level? Doesn't seem believable to me.
