After the last chapter, it's obvious Kishi does not care about what he's doing anymore.
Naruto is just a happy go lucky optimist with no plan
And Sasuke is an edgy pessimist whose plan is so vague he might as well not even have one.

This is all just for the money.

It's clear they'd fight each other but not under these conditions. They're both being total idiots. I was hyped when Sasuke first showed his true intentions. But, like Kaguya, he's becoming a disappointment.

Well, I think that he wants to kill the Kages in order to erase the past ideals. That way, once he's dead a new system can be raised, one that would be different from his and the Kages's rein.
