Sakura, a member of Team 7,The dream team, the Miami Heat of Naruto is constantly just being put down. She has "potential " to become a great konoichi but I guess it's just potential. Every time she gets her time to shine she just gets blown away or just stands there. Now I'm starting to think that she's a failed character that he wanted to develop more but It just didn't work out.

Not at all, it's certain fans who dislike her for not being OP as that's all that seems to matter to many. Kishi is doing just fine with her character. You don't take a civilian with no bloodline and make her an OP Goddess. That's when I'll say he dislikes her.

And any lame attempts to use her sadness about Sasuke not caring as a reason to dislike her is getting old, because the point is by not caring he did not return to the team and renew his bonds. He is doing this for himself only and Sakura already doubted him and this makes her doubt him more. She wants to save him but he is obviously beyond that now in her mind. That's why Kakashi said that about her in chapter 675. It led up to that scene.
