Hey has said himself in multiple interviews that he has changed the story. He even mentioned the birth of his kids giving him a different outlook and changing the way he would introduce Minato and develop his relationship with Naruto. I think he had an idea of what he wanted, but to say he never changed is absurd.

Current pages reflecting past pages only means that he himself went back and tried to parallel past scenes, it doesn't necessarily mean he planned ahead.

Also that strike from 3 angles had been made for other characters as well, not just Naruto (not the mask thing but similar)

...You know something? Second and third pages are Kishi's standard format for a remarkable punch/rasengan or whathever....They don't mean it was planned, since such format is a resource he often uses while drawing battles.

I agree. I think it is very stupid so think that kishi just makes stuff up as he goes. None of you understand business. A client cannot come up with a manga/anime, and not have the full story. He will not get money that way. If that was the case, he would be pressured to have new material all the time. and if he does make stuff up as he goes, that leaves plot holes in the story. Everything must be written out BEFORE anything can publish. Maybe you guys need to learn MORE about business and how the anime and manga companies work.
