So this means that when Hiruzen fought them, the both of them weren't at their full level. This has already been obvious, but now Kishi has stated it.

Oh, and didn't Sasuke notice Orochimaru mentioning Madara as being revived?

I think that Sasuke should've been able to realise to Madara isn't the guy behind the mask. I may just be nitpicking here

Kishi never once said that they were at there strongest to begin with

Oro is giving them more freedom this time around.

Notice that he said this before he tried ti break out and before oro mentioned that he was still under his control.


And sasuke did not know obito at all and only knew of madara so there is no reason for him to know who was under the mask

Yeah, and I wouldn't really say that Kishi has "corrected" himself; as he has never mentioned anything about the Senju brothers being revived at their full power in Part one, during the Chunin exams arc. but I will say that he did reassure something that the fans already knew.
