- Hashirama is chained down like a biotch, and Tobirama and Hiruzen aren't doing shit. Only Hokage in action is Minato.

- Kakashi attempts to Kamui Gedo, fails. Still gets hype and love

- Naruto and Biju havent spam TBB'd Madara yet

Minato is constantly saying he has failed, people have surpassed him, his life was a failure, he let down his village, he ruined his sons life. He is the fastest Shinobi ever and he gets hit by obito and gets his arm taken off.

Then TObirama comes in and shows basically the same FTG as him, despite Minato appearing to have "perfected" it

so because minato takes ownership and responsibility he's being downgraded? itd more like hes showing that he's honorable and mature enough to take responsibility for everything.

first of all, that was the juubi's jinchuriki so it'd be pretty demeaning if obito wasnt able to make an effective attack.

Eh,

What I mean is that in the flashbacks and stories, Minato is this calm, highly smart and Uber Haxed Shinobi. Seemingly stronger than anything we had seen yet. No one could touch him.

He gets revived and he is this jokey, dumb, hardly capable shinobi compared to his comrades. FTG gets a TON of downgrades that were better left in the dark. Especially Tobirama using it to the degree of Minato


His character changed far too much for someone dead.

the whole wasted panels on madara is a stupid reason, kishi is trying to set the mood and show that madara is a crazy guy who goes from laughter to serious within seconds you do realise that manga has to show things through panels if kishi just concentrated on everything being relevant then all the characters will feel like emotionless robots think of this as a set up chapter letting madara revel in his new body before unleashing hell
