I am totally confused. It just doesn't add up somehow. When you look at the facts, there isn't that much indicating that Tobi could be Obito. It doesn't even fit the timeline as you said.

And the eye. When Kakashi asked where Tobi got that eye, he responded it was during the past shinobi world war and the battle at Kannabi bridge. Does he mean that he got that eye during or after the battle, or is he referring to the moment he (in that case, Obito) awoke his sharingan?

Eeaah, I don't know... I suck at speculating because I am not that good at forming my theories into words and explaining them. And in this case, I'm just too confused to even try...
