So I'm not entirely sure if Kishi always planned for the TnJ of Obito. Or maybe it'll be that Madara definitely won't be TnJ'd? You'll see what I'm getting at.
Shikaku talks with Naruto as he approaches the battlefield, giving him a pep talk and preparing him for battle. While doing so, he mentions Tobi or at this point in time, "Madara"
Basically saying that Madara was not going to be a person he could reason with like Nagato. You see where I'm going with this now?
Again, the comparison with Nagato, it seems that Kishi, through the conversation of Naruto and Shikaku are heavily implying that Tobi or Madara will not be someone he can talked to. Even going as far as to say that they don't desire true peace. Even Tobi agrees
They even go as far to think of Tobi is evil but we know that's not the case.
Seemed like TnJ just was not an option for Tobi at this time. But hey, we know how that turned out.
There were many people like myself who initially thought Obito would never go down the same road as Nagato and believing in Naruto's words and if you look above, you can see why. Though, others did think he would do the same, I found it strange that it seem foreshadowed that he wouldn't. So I wonder, do you think Kishi made his decision sometime after this on how Tobi's path would go? Or do you think they might have been talking about Madara, the real Madara. Is it possible that it'll be Madara to fit this description rather than Tobi/Obito and Madara won't get TnJ'd? Which could it be?
Like I said, I have no problem with the road Obito went down, but I'm really curious if Kishi decided this on a whim or not.
