Based on naruto his own manga, i would say all or most of the villians share a similar treat they are lonely, gara was always alone and the people hated and feared him, itachi was an outcast of his own village, kisame was loner too and was feared by his own comrades, kabuto was lonely and the beggining and eventually got a family that was taken away form him, obito was loneliest guy you could ever see, sasuke was alone in his childhood and decided to stay that way.

So i would say the worst thing for kishi is loneliness based on what we see as the most deep characters they all were alone and social outcasts at some point.
