Personality
Kise has a very carefree, outgoing, and a flamboyant personality. He tries to be friends with everybody, including those who seem gloomy and distant. Kise exclusively adds -cchi to his best friend's names and has the habit of ending his sentence with the suffix -ssu. As carefree as he is off-court, he can be very determined and serious while playing. He says that he's not mature enough to play basketball logically, that his instincts are too strong. He is shown to be surprisingly perceptive, though it may be because his specialty is watching and copying people.

Background Information
Kise was born in Konohagakure in a period of time where blood was continuously shed, it was "The Third Shinobi War". As Kise grew up in the horrific scenes, his parents decided to evacuate him to safety which Kise eventually agreed to, although with grief. Therefore saying his final words to his family, he realised all he could do was explore the vast world he was encased within, hence he decided to travel to Amegakure, where he stayed for several months. This peace was cut short as he was exposed to be a shinobi of Konoha and due to their recent conflicts, Kise was forced to exit the land. He eventually ventured into the the Land of Water, Kirigakure, where the residents welcomed his arrival with pleasure, making him yet again, at last, feel at home, something he felt deprived off ever since leaving his family sometime ago. For these precise reasons, Kise decide to reside here hopefully for a lifetime and dreamed of being able to see his parents again in the foreseeable future.
Other
Due to his mastery in Wind release, Kise can now perform all Fuuton techniques by just weaving a mere hand seal and due to his mastery in Lightning release, Kise can perform all Raiton technique with handseals at a faster rate than that off a regular shinobi.
