Your wrong. Gai actually is Kisames weakness. He is the only one who can launch powerful long to mid ranged attacks that are not chakra based. Regular taijutsu may not be Kisames weakness since you have to get in close and your chakra will be absorbed while he defends even if you arent using chakra attacks, but as I said Gai does'nt need to get close to use his taijutsu attacks and Kisame cannot absorb and properly defend against them.
well thats a clone. why wont the water dome work? it worked on bee v2 form. and the bijuu cloak burns the skin and hotter than gai's gates. the water dome is the size of a village. it wont evaporate that fast. sharkmode in waterdome is faster than gai.
everyone has chakra inside their body its their stamina right. samehada can absorb gai chakra as well as anybody else. like when it bite bee...samehada was absorbing bees chakra without him knowing.

Kisame's weakness isnt taijutsu and infact gains an advantage over majority of taijutsu users, only if he wields samahada. With that sword, he has advantage against majority of taijutsu users. He can attack and defend himself with the sword, but also any contact with the sword and his opponents chakra can be drained. If a skilled taijutsu user was to take his weapon away from him and wield it by them self, it attacks then goes back to its rightful owner. ALso note that due to his immense strength he further gains an advantage.
With samahada he didnt do to bad in a close range fight against asuma or killbee, both who arent too bad at taijutsu either. Anyway the reason why kisame weakness is speed and not taijutsu itself has been repeated several times in the manga and this is how;
