[Discussion] Kisame's jutsu

We have seen Kisame's jutsu which he used on hachibi i.e fusing with samehada and making a big globe of water and trapping the opponent in it.Its a powerful jutsu.So,which characters,in your opinion,can counter that jutsu.Hachibi was not able to counter it.Forget nagato as he used dead bodies to fight.

Actually...the Hachibi may have been able to counter it if he fully transformed. It may have givin him underwater adaptations. I am not totally sure how octopuses breathe.

Yeah, part of the problem with that fight was that Killer Bee was trying to protect his friends. I think he would've had a pretty good chance against Kisame otherwise.

people who excel in water and earth elements.. someone like Haku could just freeze the whole sphere of water trapping kisame inside.. or, maybe yamato, who's KG is a combination of earth and water, can use up the water and combine it to make Mokuton..

Well, a full hachibi transformation won't do, since Kisame drains his chakra a bit too much for the full transformation to last.
Perhaps Bunta could at least survive the sphere.
He would'nt survive Kisame's attacks though.

Naruto makes huge whirlpool (he has done it already in anime part ) and infuses his wind chakra in it and slices kisame to bits

Yeah, that could be a possible solution.

Samehada can absorb chakra, but can it actually take away a full 8-tailed transformation? That may be different since it is actually the 8-tails itself. You'd just be taking chakra directly from it possibly?

I wonder if Kishimoto put Sabu and Ponta there to handicap Killer Bee so he couldn't go 8-tails? It's possible.
