Kisame VS Prime Sasuke and *WHY KISAME WINS*

If we want to get all technical then water itself isnt a very good insulator, at least with "normal" voltages. Anything will conduct electricity if the potential difference is high enough. What does conduct electricity are SOLUTIONS, solutions which contain ions, which come from substances that dissolve in the water and dissociate into ions. So pure water not a good conductor water with stuff dissolved in it, good conductor.

Since this is a manga we can't tell it suiton is 'pure' water, so really the debate can't be solved. On the other hand it really comes down to which technique is stronger. This fits well with Narutoverse since this is the basic rule which applies to techniques that don't have a direct elemental relationship (such as water and lightning elements).

At the end of the day it come down to what is stronger and what techniques are used. If Kisame uses water dome jutsu then Sasuke would have to discharge a sh!t load of raiton chakra since water doesn't conduct it very well. Don't forget that Killer Bee is also a raiton user but he didn't use lightning in the dome.

On the other hand most of Kisame's techniques such as shark bullet don't actually physically connect to Kisame so a direct stream between sasuke and kisame is impossible anyway.

First of all, Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Blaze Release are what Sasuke has to take down Kisame.

I don't understand why Kirin can be used though. It clearly requires preparation to execute it. Fire Release: Great Dragon Technique is needed to create thunder clouds for Sasuke to create Kirin. The Fire technique needed for Kirin is something that Kisame can counter with water release.

u should tell xRx that about kirin he seems to not be able to comprehend what he sees and reads

guys tech was a physical attack which was a jab as stated by guy get yuor facts right thats why he couldnt absorb that attack because kisame shark water bullet can only absorb ninjutsu attacks and like i said he still dnt need samehada to absorb chakra and sasuke does like to start out fighting with his sword kisame could grab it and absorb his chakra then

-Sasuke's swordmenship is nothing compared to kisames. as a legendary swords men of the mist he has more experience wielding swords when it comes to technique. sasuke is faster but thats not gonna save him in a swordfight with kisame for very long... sasuke's chakra would only get absorbed if tries to fight with swords and will be his downfall. Water dome does not become useless if sasuke is in it...if he is then lightning actually becomes useless because he will hurt himself if he uses a raiton jutsu. BUT: Sasuke can fly like you said, but he would already have to be in the air before the waterdome jutsu is casted. so yes I admit he does have a counter for the water dome.

1. sasuke can pull off that genjutsu that he did vs another highly skilled jutsu user (while in battle)
2. he can use susanoo while fighting absorbing it is useless since it can comeback at anytime, knocking away the shark skin and amaterasu'n it.
3. sasuke can absorb chidori, while taking a little pain actually i don't think it'll hurt him at all he doesn't seem hurt:

if you can prove that losing chakra disrupts the chakra balance then i will accept this as a counter argument.

I know that it was a filler episode but the same logic could be applied to this situation. In one of the latest fillers Shino tried to snap Kiba and Neji out what they thought was genjutsu by absorbing their chakra. By absorbing a portion of their chakra it creates a space in the chakra network. Chakra flows and therefore the remaining charka would flow into this empty space.

Genjutsu works by stopping the chakra flow within someones brain. When samehada feeds on Kisame's chakra it would create one of these gaps in his chakra network. Chakra would then flow to fill that spot, thereby making the system as a whole flow slightly. This shift would therefore move the chakra in kisame's brain, thus cancelling the genjutsu.

Samehada sure as hell didn't like the taste of Katon however, it still absorbed the center part of the technique.

To defeat Genjutsu, Samehada can simply disrupt his chakra. It is feeding off of his chakra anyways.

@Da Best Ever: Why should I tell him? If Kirin doesn't require prep time, then Sasuke shouldn't have used Katon: Great Fire Dragon to create thunderclouds in the first place. As a natural progidy, if Kirin can be used right away, he should have went on top of the Uchiha Hideout and form Kirin right away.

But why does he still need to prepare it? There are things that are completely retconned. Kishimoto is only human and is not going to get everything right.

Sasuke still beats Kisame, but the notion of creating Kirin anytime is ridiculous. Versus threads as a whole is nothing more than threads with wishful thinking and favoritism towards certain characters they like, regardless of any character.

I dont think he can absorb lightning, but make it flow through his body and create a current. i see what you mean though. in the dome he just turns his body into a current thus letting the lighting pass through his body making a giant ball of lightning, But if kisame can absorb the amplified lightning chakra in the water then that would pose a problem for sasuke.

All in all i say sasuke wins Via genjutsu. everything else seems almost even except the genjutsu department. sasuke is leaps and bounds ahead of kisame in this department.

samehada may have the ability to disrupt genjutsu but if he is disarmed hes finished. if he fuses with samehada and gets put under genjutsu then samehada may be effected by the jutsu aswell. sasuke wins this in my book
