I dont see how Kisame losses this fight at all. A lot of Oro's techs use a lot of chakra, expectially his rebirth thing. Kisame takes chakra, what ever blow he would take from Oro can also be healed.

I do remember Oro always being in close corners with his opponent which would give Kisame a huge chance of winning. The only I see Oro wining is if he had Edo or has enough chakra go into his Hydra form

But if Oro were to use ET, Then He might win with mid difficulty(afterall Edo's have unlimited chakra). But still Same and kisame combined would be too epic..

he has a long ass tounge and a long ass sword and a long ass neck for god sake
he has alot of summons ( manda - hydra eight heads )

kisame in the other hand is dangerous in his shark mode
dont forget even kisame cant control samsahda on his will 100% so this is his weakest point

Clearly Oro is the Tougher opponent or you wouldn't take away Edo Tensei. Without it he still wins, he has Earth Style > Water Style.

and even if he had he couldn't win against someone who has 1 biju level chakra reserves 2 best suiton feats in the manga 3 a sword which makes Kusanagi look patethic 4 survived Hirudora, an attack which was stronger than anything in Oro's arsenal except Yamata no jutsu which is a non-factor against any fast opponent...

Hoshigaki Kisame is the more likely winner here since Orochimaru does not have Edo Tensei in this match. Hoshigaki's Chakra draining abilities would win him this battle.

Kisame wins this, mid diff. His "immortality" requires chakra to "maintain" and continuity tank all these absurd blasts and gashes he receives. Samehada would drain him dry. Simple as that.
