Interesting thing about that scan: Samehada didn't like the heat, but it clearly absorbed the flames just fine. That leads me to conclude heat is something Samehada doesn't like, but can handle fine. If Samehada doesn't willingly absorb it, Kisame can force it to.

Kisame isn't reacting to Amaterasu. Also Samehada has a personality so if it meets Amaterasu it will most likly abandon bee seeing as it does that.

Tsukuyomi one-shotting Kisame is ridiculous. Kisame can just close his eyes - he was able to detect Killer Bee with zero vision since he's a sensor and can navigate without using his vision, like Kabuto.

Fan fic again. Kisame can only sense chakra when he is fused with Samehada and for that to happen it needs to absorb enough chakra and break out of its bandages. Which we've only seen it do against Bee.

Not trying to be funny but Itachi one shots. I like Kisame but he has no counter to Amaterasu.

That's the thing. Kisame can absorb with Samehada but it doesn't like fire.

Now imagine a higher level of fire release.

For the first quote, momentarily throw away the possibility of Samehada absorbing Amaterasu. We're working under the assumption, in this scenario, that Kisame is hit with an Amaterasu prior to using some sort of large scale sution. The type of jutsu that he largely relies on as a gate way to use all his other techniques. Because, if Kisame has a Bakusui Shōha already in use, what honestly stops him from using a Daikodan on a smaller scale to merely wash over him and absorb the Amaterasu?

His threshold for pain is nearly immeasurable. Take how he handled the lariat and his chest being blown out by Bee as an example of that. Much like Ay, he will ignore the burning flames and any damage done in the short time that it takes Kisame to use Daikodan can be undone by Samehada.

For the second quote; Samehada takes issues with heat, true. But with a wielder like Kisame, Samehada's own opinion doesn't matter.

its will. If Kisame wants Amaterasu off of him that way, that's what will happen. And with how quickly it's able to absorb bijuu chakra, I have no doubt Amaterasu will leave minor wounds with how quickly it will be absorbed.

Itachi will be the victor of this outcome 7/10 times. He is able to seal Kisame and if Kisame makes any slip up and falls under genjutsu, it's more than likely he will be a prime target for a lethal strike. But it's not easy with full knowledge, and cases can be made for Kisame.

As you can see in the image above, Samehada absorbed the katon. That is a fact. The only parts that were not absorbed were the flames which didn't touch Samehada.

Samehada very clearly absorbed the fire. The fact that it 'thunked' Bee on the head afterwards shows mild irritation, not inability. Does Samehada like absorbing katon? No. Will it absorb katon? Yes. When we're talking about absorbing fire, the same principles apply to Amaterasu as they do katon. Even if Samehada does not willingly absorb Amaterasu, Kisame can force it to after merging with it. Yes, you read that right.

Notice how Samehada only betrayed Kisame for Bee after it seperated from Kisame. If it could have, Samehada would've seperated from Kisame while he was still battling with Bee in the water dome. It was only after Samehada and Kisame disconnected that Samehada earned a free will of its own. Also, Kisame merged and hid within Samehada in order to infiltrate the Hidden Cloud and gain intel on the location of the Hachibi and Kyubi:

Bee specifically states that Kisame forced Samehada to merge with him. On the next page, Kisame forces Samehada to absorb Bee's chakra:

That being said, Kisame can force Samehada to absorb amaterasu if necessary.

I believe the databook is the only source at all that states Amaterasu is hotter than normal fire. As I'm sure you know, the databook exaggerates the power of almost every jutsu. The flames will not actually burn for seven days and seven nights. One time touching it is not necessarily always the last. The flames are not as hot as the sun. That being said, there's no reason to believe that flames from Amaterasu are any hotter than normal flames.

Kisame doesn't need to see Amaterasu to absorb it, Samehada does it for him. Absorbing chakra is almost instant so the moment it appears on his body it gets absorbed. Even if the flames do burn him slightly in the millisecond it takes to absorb them, Samehada will heal him from the minor burns just like it healed him from Bee's V2 Lariat, which was a much more serious injury:

Something else I'd like to point out: according to science, a bolt of lightning is five times hotter than the surface of the sun. Samehada dealt with Bee's Raiton-enhanced swords with no trouble at all:

Even if the databook was not exaggerating at all, and Amaterasu really is "as hot as the sun", it makes no difference. Samehada absorbed chakra that was five times hotter than Amaterasu, your argument that "amaterasu is too hot for Samehada to absorb" is invalid.
