Oh I've must have been under a rock. You mean Full Burst? o.o Cause if u do it already came out
Get it. Best Naruto game yet imo...Oh I've must have been under a rock.
Never heard of Revolutions. What's that? You guys do know that Naruto Storm Revolutions is releasing September '14, right? :|
OT: Itachi wins mid difficulty. He has powerful Katon and Tsukuyomi, which can potentially be a one hit kill. Worst case scenario there's Amaterasu.

I'm in Itachi Wank Mode right now, do not disturb.Slap yourself. Right now.
OT: It can go either way. But I'll admit Itachi is likely to win more often then not.
Amaterasu wouldn't work since Samehada can absorb it. Is that pushing Samehada's abilities too far?I'm in Itachi Wank Mode right now, do not disturb.
I personally don't see Samehada being able to absorb it unless Kisame is already fused. And even then it's a question mark.Amaterasu wouldn't work since Samehada can absorb it. Is that pushing Samehada's abilities too far?

How Kisame would overcome Itachi in a 1v1 battle?
Countering 3T Itachi's Arsenal
Of course, Itachi wouldn't most likely start using the Mangekyō Sharingan right off the bat so Kisame would have to counter his 3T arsenal first and now, let's look at his 3T arsenal;
- Katon
- Utakata [Commonly known as the Finger Genjutsu]
- Dusk Crow Genjutsu
- Sharingan Genjutsu
- Magen Genjutsu [Commonly known as the Demonic Illusion Genjutsu]
- Suiton
- Kuchiyose: Karasu
- Karasu Bunshin
- Bunshin Daibakuha [Commonly known as the Clone Great Explosion]
- Kage Bunshin
I'll start off by countering Itachi's Katon and Suiton affinity. Althought they might be dangerous in some situations, they can be easily countered by someone like Kisame. His Katon would be countered byYou must be registered for see links. As for Itachi's Suiton,You must be registered for see links.
Itachi's nature affinites are useless here so I'll move on to countering Itachi's Genjutsu such as the Utakata, Dusk Crow Genjutsu, etc. Kisame has a simple way of countering all of these Genjutsu; Fighting Itachi by looking at his feet of course. Kisame is Itachi's partner so he knows how good Itachi is at Genjutsu. He clearly would not look into Itachi's eyes. Even if he does get caught in a Genjutsu, Samehada can simply disrupt his Chakra flow and break him out of it. Samehada isYou must be registered for see linksso it shouldn't have trouble breaking Itachi out of a Genjutsu.
Of course, if Kisame wants to make sure that he avoids eye contact with Itachi, he could simply use his Suiton: Bakusui Shōha technique whichYou must be registered for see links. After he does so, all he needs to do is go underwater and keep on attacking from there. Since he would be underwater, Itachi won't be capable of making direct eye contact with Kisame.

With his 3T Genjutsu being ineffective against Kisame, his only chance left are his clones. However, Itachi hasn't shown the ability to make more than one or two clones at a time whileYou must be registered for see links. Furthermore, these Mizu Bunshin are far more superior to Itachi's Bunshin. Why? Because each of these Bunshin get a copy of Samehada which possesses the same abilities the original Samehada has. Now before someone says how he can't, let me explain. First off, let's take a look atYou must be registered for see links. ''"The body borne of water completely endowed with the user's abilities!" This is the first evidence that implies that the Samehada copy can absorb Chakra just like the original Samehada. The second piece of evidence is thatYou must be registered for see links. Furthermore this copy of Samehada has shown to have the exact same ability the original Samehada has such asYou must be registered for see links. And to completely prove this claim, Zabuza shown us that a sword with unique abilites can be copied along with the Mizu Bunshin.

With that being said, the Mizu Bunshin will use their own copy of Samehada to absorb Chakra from Itachi's Bunshin.
Countering the Mangekyō Sharingan
Since a 3T Itachi wouldn't really be capable of taking down Kisame, he'll have to use his Mangekyō Sharingan which can be countered by Kisame, but firstly let's look at what techniques does the Mangekyō Sharingan possess:
- Tsukuyomi
- Amaterasu
- Susano'o
- Totsuka Blade
- Yata Mirror
- Yasaka Magatama
I'll start off by countering Itachi's Tsukuyomi. First of all, keep in mind that Kisame has knowledge on Tsukuyomi so he won't be so stupid to make direct eye contact with Itachi and get caught. However, there is a way for Kisame to counter the Tsukuyomi. Once he sees Itachi activating the Mangekyō Sharingan, the most logical thing to do would be activating the Suiton: Dai Bakusui ShōhaYou must be registered for see links. ThereYou must be registered for see links. Once this happens, Itachi will not be capable of using Tsukuyomi on Kisame anymore due to a simple reason. In his battle against Sasuke, we have seen that Itachi's eye sight was so bad thatYou must be registered for see links. Bee said thatYou must be registered for see linksdue to the fact that there was simply too much water. In other words, Itachi who's eye sight is extremely bad, won't be able to make eye contact or keep up with Kisame at all.

Now, I'll move onto Amaterasu. Oh well I'll let someone else explain this:

With that being said, the only real threat left is Susano'o. How exactly does Kisame counter Susano'o? This will be easy since the Water Dome would already be in play. I must admit that Kisame would be unable to absorb the Susano'o due to the Yata Mirror so he'll simply have to wait until Itachi dies of Chakra exhaustion and that won't be hard at all sinceYou must be registered for see links. These waves of Sharks will keep on attacking Itachi, making him keep Susano'o up the whole time until he dies of Chakra exhaustion. Now Kisame would have to worry about the Totsuka Blade and the Yasaka Magatama until Itachi runs out of Chakra. However, Kisame can counter both with ease. First of all, it will be hard for Itachi to even hit Kisame if not even impossible due to his bad eye sight, shit ton of waters and a swarm of Sharks from all sides. Basically, it's impossible for Itachi to hit him, but anyways Kisame will easily avoid the Totsuka Blaid with his underwater speed feats. He was evenYou must be registered for see links. As for Yasaka Magatama, Kisame will simply absorb it since Samehada was capable of absorbing Bee's V2 cloak.

I agree that Itachi's fire style stalemates with Kisame's water style. However, just because Kisame knows Itachi is good at Genjutsu, doesn't mean he won't look at his eyes or get trapped within it. For Itachi, it's literally as simple as using Shunshin no Jutsu to teleport right into Kisame's face and cast Tsukuyomi on him. Physical attacks will be rendered useless on Itachi, because Kisame will end up only attacking a clone that transforms into crow bunshins that cast Genjutsu on Kisame, or Itachi could do it himself. Once in it, Kisame cannot break his Genjutsu. His water dome doesn't absorb chakra.. don't know where Shura's linked information got that from. This is the size of Kisame's water domeKisame wins.
There are a few flaws in that quote.Kisame wins.
Kisame could take the battle to mid-diff at best. This post was slightly too biased.Kisame wins.
Tsukuyomi was restrictedKisame canonically admitted inferiority to itachi
I dnt think there's much to discuss if we go by that notion
