It depends. I don't see Samehada protecting him from V2 Lariats, esp. when Samehada has no chakra ahead of time, so this is assuming the Raikage is BL and would go out assuming his hype.

I would say the Raikage wins. He's far too fast and wouldn't allow Samehada the chance to absorb his chakra whereas Kisame always started his fight in CQC which is suicide when Raikage V2 Shunshin blitzes from the very beginning while Samehada is at it's weakest.

Now, if you had Kisame started Bloodlusted or started using his best techniques, he'd likely win IMO.

50m gives Kisame the win.

Creating Suiton clones would still allow Kisame to win this rather easily at a smaller distance. He can't attack them all at once, and his Raiton shroud would be absorbed once he attacks 1 of the many clones.

Can't Lord Pissame put distance between them by going underground.

Sure, but that totally contradicts Kisame's fighting style.

Doesn't change the fact that it puts distance between him and preserves his life is he is actually intelligent enough to plan ahead and considering this is a pretty simplistic plan that you could imagine even Hidan coming up with.

Not contradicting his fighting style and dying or contradicting his fighting style and preserving his life, if he has the intelligence at the level of a simplistic human being, he should know which one he should do.

yeah with this distance kisame wins,

he can form a large scale suiton to raise more distance whilst attacking ay, and buy him enough time to merge with samehada and form the waterdome,
once Ay gets caught in the dome, he is done for

I laugh every time op tries to make the starting distance large. 50m is nothing at all, seen larger distances crossed by slower ninja. A wins everytine, full speed punch sends hpkisames head flying off.

Kisame wins every time. I still don't get how people can support Ay in this match up.

Kisame wins med diff with those conditions. Ay wins if the fight starts at a shorter distance.

Except Itachi establishes in Part 1 that it's Kisame's carelessness that would yield him uneccessary injuries against multiple opponents. If he had the intelligence to put distance between him and his opponent to gain a considerable advantage, that statement wouldn't have been needed.

Regardless, Kisame has never put distance between him and his opponent. He'll rely on Samehada's senses to deduce that the Raikage has a lot of chakra and would likely opt to absorb it like he did against V2 Bee.

Not contradicting his fighting style and dying or contradicting his fighting style and preserving his life, if he has the intelligence at the level of a simplistic human being, he should know which one he should do.

Please, in all likelihood, Kisame relies on Samehada's chakra received from his opponents to preserve his own life, not some lousy attempt to stay at a safe range. Kisame only retreated against 2 Jin, a Mokuton user, and a Gated user, but Raikage was never an opponent that Kisame implied to have ever felt to retreat on his own.

Ay can't decapitate people alone, that's why he needs killer bee. Also, 50m is a long distance if we're talking about Kage level shinobis who all have decent reflexes.

That distance becomes short if the one being speedblitzed doesn't have good reflexes.

He likely could with a Liger Bomb or a Karate Chop towards the neck IMO.

Then again, V1 Bee's Lariat apparently didn't kill Taka Sasuke and Base Bee's Lariat surpassed Ei's Lariat.
