Kisame v KCM Naruto

Closing the distance isn't exactly the hardest thing. Whenever he gets in range, he gets a free hit with whatever he wants.

Kisame's only way of winning is starting off with Water Dome and fusing at the very beggining before he gets close. That's very out of character though.

Well given Naruto's speed I think that's the option Kisame would aim for. Regardless KCM Naruto should be faster on ground than Kisame in the water which is the speed at which water dome moves so Naruto should be able to outrun it.

Avoiding water dome should be no trouble for him considering his speed, and in the off chance he does get caught up in it, the momentum from COR's explosion would send him flying backwards and out of the water dome. Or he could potentially just nuke the water dome with COFRS.

Once water dome is down, Naruto just needs to be able to dodge GSB, something he's easily capable of doing. Naruto's toads can pin down Kisame and Naruto ends him by exploding a FRS in his face (Samehada can absorb the FRS itself, but not its explosion.)

GSB completely shits on Naruto if he thinks he's going to nuke WD.

Naruto being as fast as he is doesn't mean he'll outrun the formation of Water Dome from far less than 50m away since his first move will be to close the distance between the two. Being able to outrun the actual dome like Ice suggested also doesn't matter since he won't be chasing Naruto outside of the dome from within. Lol @ COR's explosion having enough force to send him from inside the dome to the outside. Where is the evidence for that? COR nuking the Dome? Not only is this Early war Naruto (no COFRS) but GSB would absorb it and wreck Naruto.

Yeah, pretty much. But once it goes up and he gets caught his chances of victory drop to zero.

I dunno but it does tilt the match in Kisames favor. Early War arc Naruto without KB is basically a really fast shunshin with some Rasengan variants in this match up though since Naruto's strong CQC abilities are nullified once Kisame's fused and in water dome

Yeah, his Shunshin becomes useless and the speed advantage goes to Kisame, and his damaging techniques are all chakra based, and contact with Kisame means his chakra gets drained. So I don't see how he stands any chance at all.

The one reason I question this is because 0tk Naruto didn't have any problems moving around underwater, neither did Bee and Naruto's much faster than either of them.

Agreed on the second part his strongest tech here is FRS so it's not like he can try to overwelm him from inside water dome, not without clones.

Naruto's Shunshin is much faster than B's, but there's no evidence or reason to believe he'd move much faster than B underwater.

He can still Shunshin if he's grounded, it's would just be slower underwater. By scaling it would still be far faster than how fast Kisames going

Couldn't Kisame move upwards with the dome so it no longer has a base? He'd have to do it when Naruto tries to Shunshin after him from the base however its not like Kisame will be directly near Naruto he would have time to swim upwards.

I don't think Naruto would ever have time to make it to the base though.

That is the whole Idea, if it is held in place by his own chakra than he should be able to as it already is denying physics by forming a dome in the first place.

Because holding it's shape and actually causing it to levitate are two separate things entirely. We aren't arguing whether or not it'll maintain it's shape, we are arguing whether or not it can levitate.
