5 feeding sharks made gai use 6 gates so 1000 would be just fine for itachi with his low low stamina.
Any other attack itachi uses is just absorbed which kisame would use to heal himself.
Inb4 you say itachis fireball hurt Samehada so samehada cant absorb amaterasu, well that's bs as well, what's he going to do? Just let it burn him? It might hurt but he can still absorb it. Or Kisame could as he's already proven to be able to absorb chakra and heal without samehada.

He dint use samehada to send gai flying to the bottom of the ocean that was his fist so taijutsu is what wrecked gai, furthermore gai used the nunchucks to combat samehada so no excuse plus there were other top 20 taijutsu users there as well lee and neji yet they were useless

Gai had no chakra to be absorbed and was also using a weapon, and Kisame at 30% still punched him to the bottom of the lake. Gai is better by far, with gates. But in akatsukk no one else could've done that at 30% without using jutsu.

Kisame admitted inferiority to itachi aside from that you say samehada takes amaterasu boy are stupid, it barely took itachi's fireball jutsu when killer bee used samehada and amaterasu is much more hotter and ajutsu like that would only be a distraction we all know when amaterasu is used itachi would already have gotten tsukoyami off and maybe samehada breaks kisame free but that dont mean shit when with only 3 seconds of usage you're in the hospital for a week, lets not add in totsuka we know kisame isnt the most agile

Kisame has skill, but he's really just a lot of strength with good reaction time. Itachi's certainly better, but Kisame's probably two. Nagato/Pein was being matched by base Naruto, so I really wouldn't put them above Kisame. Nagato obviously isn't good in taijutsu, he has practically zero experience.

Kisame had every organ in his body blown away, but he healed in under 5 seconds, and it didn't even bother him. Tsukyomi wont do anything. And like I said, samehada absorbed a shit load of itachis fire ball, just because it hurt doesn't mean it cant absorb, of course it hurt, its fire, but after absorbing it he can just heal, same with amaterasu, it will hurt, but that doesn't mean it can't absorb.

What's itachi gonna do when he's underwater and can't escape and kisames too fast fused with samehada to be hit by totsuka. Especially when there's also a GSB swimming around and 1000 feeding sharks to top it off? He's gonna be able to amaterasu every single one while underwater and can't breathe? SIKE. he wont even be able to hold Susanno for that long.
