Minato solos this. Kisame couldn't react to KCM Naruto who was mentioned to be slower than Minato, so he'd end up marked really quickly making him a non-factor(would be killed anytime). Gai doesn't have feats allowing him to react to Minato's hiraishin attacks either. Not to mention he has no way to defend him when he would be surrounded by markings. With Itachi, they win easier
