VS.

Kakashi & Gai

Location: Kisame Vs. Killer Bee
Intent: Kill
Starting Point: 40 Yards away from each other
Deidara starts on clay owl

Now we all know, individually Gai defeated Kisame and Kakashi (with Narutos help) defeated Deidara. But will Kakashi & Gai be able to defeat them together as a pair? Let me know who wins.

If Gai>Kisame and Kakashi>Deidara it is safe to say Gai and Kakashi win because they also have superior team work compared to Deidara and Kisame. Although if you switch things up, I say the Akatsuki duo would probably win.

What do you mean by bold?

I think Deidara and Kisames feats complement each other pretty nicely. So im going with the Akatsuki duo here.

you know what happened to Deidara last time. Kakashi would kamui his head off, while Gai also is stronger than Kisame going 7th gate.

Just because they defeated them individually, doesn't necessarily mean they will win in a tag team fight.

Kisame can use his water dome, while Deidara takes flight. While Kakashi and Gai are caught in the water dome, Deidara can use his clay bombs to travel in the water and explode.

Proof that his clay bombs can swim and be activated in the water.

Guy can repel the water by using the gates, freeing both him and Kakashi and proceed to attack Kisame together.

Their last opponent, diedara, will be the toughest, but they both have long range techniques, so they have a fair chance at taking him down.

And how does Gai opening gates repel an entire water dome?

He repelled an entire ocean of water before. Look at his fights with Kisame and you'll see that when he opens the gates, the water is repelled completely.

That only occurred when he opened the 7th Gate. But the water dome is able to move, so while he is repelling the water, the water dome will move with it so its not like he is dispelling the entire dome. Meanwhile, Deidara can drop swimming clay bombs on them.

Eventually Gai and Kakashi will be able to get out of the water dome, due to it having to travel the direction the water is being repelled. Then it will be in Kisames best interest to avoid 7th gated Gai by using Hidden Mist Technique and/or hiding under the ground with his earth release.

Now taking refuge underground protects Kisame from Deidaras C4 which Gai and Kakashi has no answer to.

By flying around just like last time, it will be much harder for Kakashi to concentrate and land a Kamui while trying to avoid Kisames large scale suiton techniques.

too bad Deidara already tried, and could'nt do sht.. Kamui is almost instant (almost)

also Gai will handle Kisame while Kakashi one shots Deidara..

I'll have to give this to Kisame and Deidara. Why are people claiming Gai > Kisame, even though he didn't have Samehada in the fight they base this assumption on ? Take away Gai's Gates if Kisame's use of Samehada is taken away.

Kisame's Large Scale Water Techniques compliment Deidara's Insane Air Support perfectly. If anyone wants to debate, let's go xd

Your on!

At that time, Kisame had a terrain advantage on his side being near the ocean and took advantage of that when he used the 1000 feeding sharks which overwhelmed even morning peacock. Even if you take away the gates, he still has his nun chucks he could use.

Also note that Kakashi could be able to copy kisames techniques and use them against him if necessary. Either that or he could use a large Doton technique like his earth wall jutsu to absorb the water. Granted, this would be in support of gai if he needed help.

Kakashi himself would be focusing on attacking diedara and trying to take out deidara before he can take flight on his bird, his lighnting affinity and sharingan being key to take him down similar to what sasuke did. If he does, then Kakashi has several long range jutsus that he can utilize to attack him from long range such as the water dragon jutsu or Kamui to name a few.

Too bad that almost instant technique took Kakashi literally over 2 minutes to warp just his his arm off, with a clear shot! Deidara was only trying to separate Naruto from Kakashi, so he wasn't even giving him any big heat. Also, Deidara only had one arm at that time, which decreased the amount of bombs he could produce.

This is a team effort, your turning it into more of a 1 vs 1.

To your first point, while i understand he had a nearby water source, he lacked Samehada. Something which gave him a large bulk of his top tier abilities. With it, he would infinite regeneration by constantly exchanging chakra with his sword and using saved chakra reserves for this sole purpose.

Kisame was shown to tank Hiruodora fairly well and with the help of Samehada he would of recovered unfazed (by using stored chakra in the sword) much like he did when he was hit by a lethal v2 lariat from Killer Bee.

While i acknowledge he used Killer Bee cloak's chakra to recover from such a devastating attack, the essential principle of using retained chakra from Samehada and converting it to his own stamina.

Kakashi's capabilities to copy Kisame's techniques would reach their limit relatively quickly. Kakashi's own stamina doesn't support the highly intensive chakra taxing techniques he utilizes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Without even going into Kisame's capabilities too much yet, it seems we need to explore Deidara's own capabilities. I'll get on to him and combined tactics with Kisame the moment i get back xd.

Kakashi and Gai Mid diff, Kakashi's aim with the Kamui is better than it was when he first used it against Deidara and he is master of Raiton, which is Deidara's weakness. 7 gates Gai would be able to finish Kisame again
