People argue that Kisame death were pointless only because Tobi is not Madara which is somewhat true but even though Kisame was fooled, it doesn't take away the fact that Tobi = Madara. Obito who have no real identity believed the concept of the Moon Eye plan to which he had imitated Madara and his ideology hence the real Madara would've done.

So it doesn't matter if Tobi who turns out Obito gets Tnj when the real Madara mostly completed his objective even despite being completely manupilated by BlackZetsu, still He doesn't regret the action, and still believe the whole shinobi system is f*cked up. Thus Madara will always remain the epic villain and Kisame will always believed Madara way of Peace not Obito or someone else!!!

The death wasn't in vain.

All that mattered is that Kisame believed in the plan presented to him and died striving for a world he wished to be a part of.

Kisame acts sarcastically when calling Tobi Madara impying he knows he wasn't actually Madara, yet he still chose to follow him. Also, he certainly never interacted with the real Madara in the first place so him calling him Madara does not confirm some peoples' crazy theories...

I agree. His last moments of self-reflections were very revealing. Kisame was one of my favourite Akatsuki members; he and Itachi were always super cool.
