Name: Kiroku Hinode
Orgin: Land of Iron
Age:19
Gender: Male
Clan: Hinode
Skill: Kendo and duel wielding
Backstory:
Kiroku slammed his bottle of sake down onto the wooden bar table, the sound echoing across the empty building. He slid the bottle towards the bartender, beckoning for another round. The newly filled bottle flew towards him, Kiroku stopping it quickly with his hands. He lifted the rim to his mouth, taking a long swig of sake. As a single tear strolled down his cheek, Kiroku looked back on the tragedy that was his life. Every day from age four to eight, his father would take him out into snowy mountains, no matter the weather. Despite if it was a blizzard, his father wished for him to master the sword art of kendo. Echoes of wood clacking on wood would echo across the
valleys for hours on end, young Kiroku being beat down but always forced to rise again. His father and mother set out one day, promising to return by sundown. Eight year old Kiroku waited for three days before excepting it. His parents were dead. Suddenly faced with the challenge to keep himself alive, he entered gladiator like tournaments to earn money. Years later, as he was exiting the stadium, he was approached by a cloaked man, face hidden by shadow. Seeing exponential potential in the young boy, the retired samurai took Kiroku under his wing. For six years he trained under this man before waking one day to his sensei's
head placed on his porch, blood staining the snow. Kiroku quickly lost the will to live, walking through the motions like a living ghost. One night he awoke, deciding he would hunt the men who killed his loved ones to the ends of the earth. He became addicted to sake, and its property to allow him to leave his problems behind, if only for a moment. His research led him to a nearby town, just south of his previous living space. Walking into the bar, he evaluated the group of people there. 20 people. Any one of them could be the person he was looking for. So he decided to slaughter them. Like animals. His blade moved quickly, scything people to the ground, a smile on his face. As he removed the head
from the last man, he collapsed, passing out before his head hit the ground. He awoke to two men staring down at him, curious looks in their eyes. They quickly became acquainted with each other, Kiroku learning of the two ninja, Tekkey and Hageshi. Kiroku decided to join their journey, inspired by the chance for a purpose in life. A few nights later, the trio proclaimed theselves brothers, agreeing to stick together no matter what. Kiroku snapped back to the present, lowering his bottle to to the bar table as Hageshi leaned over and whispered a joke in his ear. And for the first time in years, Kiroku grinned.
