Kirin

Remember the earlier episodes of shippuden when sasuke took on naruto, sai, sakura, and yamato and at the end of the fight sasuke jumped up to higher ground and held his hand up in order t use kirin, but was stopped by orochimaru.
Does this mean that sasuke doesn't need to prep for kirin.? Because it is possible that the only reason he prepped it for Itachi is:
1.) Takes too much time without prep
Or
2.) Without prep takes too much chakra

i guess when he is low on hakra like when he fought Itachi that it t akes some time and a lil help from his Katon to fire up that Kirin

But, Kirin uses natural lighting to power it up. So unless Sasuke was somehow gonna create natural lighting out of no where it might have been a different jutsu.
