Which one is a more effective jutsu?

Kirin is a very powerful lightning style jutsu. The jutsu is impossible to dodge because it moves at the speed of light. The actual power of the attack is also so great, that it can destroy an entire mountain. The jutsu itself does not require much chakra, in fact it uses less chakra than it does to keep sharingan active. The drawback of this jutsu is: its a one time use only and requires some preparation, such as creating thunder clouds infused with the users chakra.

Rasenshuriken is a wind-style jutsu capable of massive damge as well. The attack strikes with thousands of microsopic wind blades that strike all the nerves in a persons nervous system, leaving them paralyzed after the attacks finished. The attack also damages the chakra circulatory system leaving the victim powerless and possibly never to use jutsu again, for it is unrepairable. The speed of which the jutsu is thrown is also remarkably fast. The drawback to this jutsu is that if it is not thrown, the attack does damage to the users arm as well, causing damage on a cellular level. This attack also requires a very large amount of chakra to both create and throw it.

I personally think rasenshuriken is better because it can be made with no preparation and is not limited to a one time use.

Rasenshuriken is more deadly and more efficient since there is no wether requirement.
Also naruto can control the trajectory of its attack by using his kyubi chakra hands.

Rasenshuriken is more deadly and more efficient since there is no weather requirement.
Also Naruto can control the trajectory of its attack by using his kyuubi chakra hands.

FRS is better when it comes to usage, as it doesnt need preparations like Kirin. But if we are talking about destructive power and speed Kirin is on whole other other compared to FRS.

Kirin's speed, destructive power, and area of effect/exceptionally large range is more than that of Rasenshuriken, not to mention the fact that it requires next to no chakra. Rasenshuriken also has tremendous speed, destructive power and tremendous range and area of effect, and while not on the level of Kirin, it does not need to be. The difference between them is how versatile they are. Rasenshuriken can be used anywhere and anytime, while Kirin can only be used outside and in a thunderstorm. Of the two, Kirin is more powerful, but Rasenshuriken is more versatile, making it the better technique. Rasenshuriken's cellular damage is cool, but seems kind of superfluous considering if it hits, it is gonna kill anyway, though it is useful on the off chance someone can actually survive it.

I'm going with Rasenshuriken. The reason is that it is quicker to prepare than Kirin. Kirin may have the destructive power and speed (Destroying the entire Uchiha Hideout and reaching 1/1000th of a second), but it takes time to prepare (powerful Fire Technique to create thunder clouds, Amaterasu to heat it up, and forming multiple lightnings to shape the dragon). I also have to protect myself from getting caught in the blast and I can't use it again.

Rasenshuriken may be less powerful, slower, and use more chakra, but the power is still considerably great as shown here:

So no disrespect to Kirin, but I just find Rasenshuriken better to use in fights.

If we take the requirements out of the equation kirin is better. It costs little to no chakra to use, does more damage(scale wise) and its reaches its target faster. frs takes considerably less prep time for the massive damage it does so in a practical sense if one has the reserves to pull it off multiple times it should be fine. On the other hand if has amaterasu, making the conditions for kirin is easy and after enough black flames is on the field it can be spammed( but not rapidly since the clouds must reform from the heat)

Frs is easier to use.. and nearly as powerful .... and it would also top kirin in a fight seeing how wind>lightning
