Kirin doesnt require much chakra. He just got some from Naruto. If you recall he used it against Itachi when he was out of Chakra.

Now your just back peddaling cause you know your wrong. I never said naruto wouldnt defend against Kirin. We just speculate that kishi was hinting at Sasuke potentially using the clouds, since they were shown.

Kirin probably uses less chakra than Chidori. Its a last resort move. He just needs to guide the lightning, not produce them with his own chakra.
