there were more than just 20 sand shinobi in the invasion. not to mention the oto ninja.that outfit is the kage dress code. and kabuto had power comparable to kakashi at that time

Oto isnt exactly a strong country, and the only Kage who wore that outfit were Hiruzen and the Raikage, the fourth kazekage never wore it. Im just saying its unbelievable how bad the security was. Gaara managed to go shukaku in the middle of the night and kill dosu and no one noticed. That suna jonin managed to kill the exam proctor and no one really looked into it. Hell, when gaara was walking down the stairs to fight sasuke there were to guys just standing there waiting to kill him! Dafuq is that? And i wouldnt say kabuto was comparable to kakashi, he just managed to trick him in the hospital with sasuke. Imagine the Olympics with absolutly no security, and imagine one of the leader of the world sits next to obama wearing a ski mask.

You would think with all the talent (Hashi/tobirama/hiruzen/minato/the sannin, naruto, the uchiha, the hyuga) that konaha produces it would be a LITTLE harder to just attack them with like 20 ninjas from the sand village. I mean, how was it not suspicious at ALL when orochimaru dressed up as the fourth kazekage and hid his face/whole body in that dumb outfit that the fourth never actually wore? You'd think one of konahas "elite" sensors would be like "something is DEFINETLY up here" not to mention half the village were put under gen jutsu by a gennin.

Orochimaru's technique essentially makes him whomever he transforms into, that being said since he was in the body of that woman nobody really knew it was Oro until he revealed himself and there was little usage of Sensory based shinobi back in the first part so that aspect may not have been utilized yet to discern enemy chakra.

Also Kabuto may have been a genin but his skills were on par with Kakashi, he wasn't any ordinary genin. He has been a shinobi spy since he was a child and then he basically went under the wing of Orochimaru. His rank was only that because he never passed the exams but he never truely attempted to. He could've just the same as Naruto could now if he desired. That being said no shinobi, with the exception of real genin that werent' proficcient in genjutsu (Naruto, Kiba) were trapped. even Shikamaru and Sakura managed to release the illusion.

Only the arena fell under the affects for that matter as well, doubt that was half of Konoha.

Hyuga clan is suppose to be the strongest in the village, don't forget them. With Choza, Shikaku as a stratege, Ino's father, Ino-Shika-Cho(who is overpowered right now), Kakashi and Gai who are kage level shinobis, Tsunade, Naruto(overpowered), Genma and his group(who could perform Hiraishin), and plenty other talented ninjas, they could deal with every village i think. The only village against it would be tough it's against Kumo

You overestimat Konoha due to the emphasis it's been shown as the main village. A Hyuuga had his eye stolen from a member of Kiri. 20 shinobi from Kumo took down the Second Hokage (I'm sorry TOBI-sama :T_T. Although that's not significant to the village now you can see that there are special cases in every village not just in Konoha.

There may very well be Kakashi and Gai-esque shinobi in other villages. We have Darui from Kumo who many consider to be Kumo's Kakashi counterpart (in some aspects, mainly in his status as a powerful shinobi in Kumo). There are many talented shinobi in Konoha but there are equally as powerful shinobi likely to be in Kumo, Iwa, Suna, and Kiri.

We've seen Edo Summons of past shinobi taking down several with ease and they've only been defeated due to the teamwork and combine forces of the Five Great Nations and their strategies.

I feel Konoha is weaker than Kumo and Iwa in the sense of their overall foundation and if they were to fight on the war front against both of these nations like in the previous wars (they weren't allied but they were all fighting one anohter) Konoha would have a hard time/possibly lose because of the situation with Pein having severly damaged the village and rendering several shinobi incapable of fighting. Especially if every one of Pein's victims had remained dead, Konoha wouldn't stand much of a chance...however even with their forces capable after the fact they still remained crippled to some extent.

Lol i mentioned the hyuga what im saying is that with ALL of those guys how did oro manage to just walk in. If i remember correctly the suna ninja were just like waiting 10 feet away from the wall that encloses the village.

Orochimaru is from Konoha. He even worked in the root. So he knew the code to go through like Itachi also(Deva says it):

Konoha is the strongest village for a long time and even presently they lost it for a while after the pain invasion arc. Even now tell me who in the alliance is close to as strong as naruto absolutely no one he can almost kill a whole village himself with his tbb in bijuu mode. Also Kakashi and guy are probably the best jonin out there even people like Darui cannot compare. Especially guy in 7 gates and Kakashi with his ms which he got a lot better at using. Tsunade also proves to be resilient and not so weak.

Also key strategists are from Konoha no village can beat them only Iwa and kumo stand a chance as of now. Only after the pain arc was the Konoha weaker than other villages. And before that lets not even get to hashirama era where they were undoubtably the strongest with most of the bijuu. Throughout history they seem to be the strongest village and kishi made it clear as thy had the two strongest clans back then but to this day still have the most powerful shinobi.

Their biggest problems were their own rouge ninja like Madara and orochimaru. Even Tobi who used the power of the uchIha to try to destroy the village. Also people like kabuto as well. If u notice all the main villains are part of Konoha. Kabuto,sasuke, Orochimaru, Madara and even Tobi who uses the power of the uchIha and senju. Kishi made the highest elites of Konoha from the beginning way too Op but balanced it by making them villains

Kumo and Konoha are the only villages that have Bijuu left, you can't base the village's power from their leader if so where would Konoha be?

Actually, tbh, Konoha was leveled and is in the process of rebuilding, they're pretty weak collectively if you subtract Naruto from the bunch. If I were to rank the villages, I wouldn't put Kiri at the top but I deff wouldn't put them at the bottom.

But I base this mainly on databooks and observation. Kumo is still the boss nation.

After the pain invasion I would somewhat agree but even then they had people danzo who can make kages go after their own village with his Ka which is such a big asset seeing how he can use it every hour as well, tsunade, Kakashi, guy and naruto sm. but now if anyone goes to war with Konoha 1v1 who can take on naruto and his bijuu mode absolutely no one even rail age and bee would lose to that kind of power.

And the top brass of other villages don't show potential enough to take down someone like gai or Kakashi even people like Darui or akasutchi, shee and kitsch I. Naruto is simply too strong and as we seen in the war he is the deciding factor in the war mainly and kishi doesn't seem to show that fodders make that big of a difference. his clones can kill many of the opposing high level or even low leve kage ninjas which no village has an excess of or by now kishi would have focused on them.

Kumo nor Iwa can take on Konoha as of now naruto is simply too strong for any village to handle alongside Konoha shinobi. Databook is outdated and we have to go based on current prowess of characters and even then shinobi with excellent prowess or unique abilities make the difference in ninja wars as shown by minato in the last war and especially naruto in this war.

But this is the case when a shinobi is overwhelmingly strong as was the case for naruto, Madara, hashi and minato.
