Personality:
Kinkaku and his brother are considered disgraces to Kumogakure due to their underhanded natures. They use deceit and betrayal indiscriminately in battle and will even attack their own comrades. He is also very prideful, and became angry when Darui chastised them, proposing to his brother that they decimate their opponent; though he seemed to be more composed than Ginkaku. One of the few things that Kinkaku did seem to care about was his brother's well-being. During their fight with Darui, Ginkaku was sucked into the Benihisago, and in response Kinkaku went into his Version 2 state out of rage.

Description: When Entering this mode Kinkaku and Ginkaku will begin being surrounded in a black shroud of chakra as their blood begins evapourating into black drops as it completely envelops them in a coloumn of black smoke
that rises into the sky. Suddenly the black
shroud is dispersed as ginkaku or kinkaku
roars sending a surge of red chakra up to short range. They are then completely enveloped in a black cloak of chakra with 6 tails much like a minature kyubi but much more bulkier and muscular, a fact proven by their increased endurance, capable of enduring endless barrages of B-Rank techniques and up to 2 A-ranks with no apparent damage. Anyone who touches the cloak suffers damage from the intense bijuu chakra, equivalent to C-Rank. Whilst in this form they gets a substantual bonus to their techniques and taijutsu techniques, although not so much on their speed. When the form ends they are left laying on the ground skin red from from the continous burning of his skin, defeated and unable to continue.

The Gold and Silver Brothers are the most notorious criminals in the history of Kumogakure. Once, they were assigned to capture the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, but were swallowed whole. However, they survived, and thrashed inside the tailed beast's stomach for two weeks, eventually forcing the Nine-Tails to regurgitate them. While in its stomach, they survived by eating the flesh of the beast. An elderly Kumo-nin noted that when the fox finally regurgitated the brothers, they both came out looking like miniature versions of the beast due to having acquired a portion of the fox's chakra. During a peace treaty ceremony between Konohagakure's Second Hokage and Kumogakure's Second Raikage, the brothers staged a coup d'état that left the Hokage on the brink of death.

Due to Kinkaku being a master of the Lightning release element, he is able to perform all Lightning techniques with only having to perform a single hand seal.
Taijutsu & Kenjutsu Proficiency:
Kinkaku's close combat and sword arts are both outstanding, being one of the most notorious criminals, this would be expected of the man. Kinkaku's close combat is proficient and fluid, as well as very much enduring, Kinkaku is also a rather strong willed individual and wouldn't all simple punches and kicks to phase him, it would have to be something of actual power to have any sort of effect on him. His Kenjutsu is also on par with his taijutsu abilities being capable of wielding 5 treasured tools of the Sage of six paths, makes it possible for Kinkaku to wield any possible weapon, his kenjutsu prowess is so outstanding that he manages to perform all kenjutsu (besides samurai) related techniques with relative ease, being able even to perform more fluid and faster than regular kenjutsu users.

Kinkaku carries the regular ninja tools like kunai, flash tagged kunai, explosive tagged kunai, Shurrikken, explosive tags, flash bombs smoke bombs, several meters of wire, and a few scrolls used for storage etc.
Kinkaku also carries several Boomerang with him at all times, due to him being a practitioner of the Fatal Impact style of fighting he is able to manipulate boomerangs with his will.
