Kings says, "The rank of Kage is underrated!"

Lately I've been seeing people label certain characters as Kage, which in all actuality they ARE NOT.

Kage are superior shinobi who UNDOUBTABLY have the power and ability to defend their village, make smart choices and defeat majority of the shinobi displayed throughout the series. It's not simply a technqiue one possesses that makes them a Kage level/rank shinobi.

Characters who get this rank, but are undeserving;
Kakashi
Gai
Sasuke (MS)
.....
.......
And a few others

Also, what the hell is low-Kage level? This is just a way to expand the rank to weaker shinobi, give it up.

Do agree that the tag kage is being underrated not because characters are being labelled kage as i believe kakashi, ms sasuke and gai are indeed low kage. Why kage rank is being underrated is when people say certain characters are above high kage level and im thinking WTH

That's another issue, so I completely agree. But the label of low-Kage seems a bit ridiculous. IMO it's either you're the level/rank or not and from we've seen I can't necessarily say they have what it takes to be Kage level.

Actually, when we are calling someone Kage level shinobi usually we thinks only about strenght, not if someone is fit to be a Kage. And in that matter a lot of characters catches to it. Most of Akatsuki were Kage level when it comes to strenght.
