Kingfishers are cute, small to medium sized birds, i think. There's (water) kingfishers, (tree) Kingfishers and more. That's all i know.

Anyway... I have met a few Kingfishers at the current time... Jade, Leach, Augustine, Torotoro and a bunch of rather Angry Birds >_> (Jade because of her colour, Leach because of the first guy to discover and classify the species he is based off, Augustine because I chose the wrong Roman emperor due to what I was watching at the time, Torotoro as the was the species descriptive name I based her off, Angry Birds because I ran out of ideas xD)

We'll start with Jade, she is a moderately sized Water Kingfisher with a 1.5 meter wingspan who can not carry humans on her back. She has a short tail and long bill and is coloured oily green above, with white markings on the wings and tail, with a white collar around the neck.

Firstly, like any summoning tech, you need to make a small blood sacrifice and then smear it on the hand you signed to contract with. Then perform the Snake → Bird hand seals and place your hand on the ground. You need to carefully spread your chakra into the ground to form the seal and bring Jade through.

After listening to my senpai's explanation, i bite my left thump, causing a cut, and it starts to bleed a little. I then continue by performing the Snake → Bird hand seals, while at the same gathering chakra into my palms. I then slam my hands on the ground, and i quickly release chakra into the ground, spreading the chakra carefully and successfully forming the seal, bringing Jade through it.

Description: After making a blood sacrifice and performing the Snake → Bird hand seals, the summoner will place their hand on the ground or other flat surface, while applying ample pressure and chakra in order to summon Jade. Jade is a moderately large Water Kingfisher with a 1.5 meter wingspan who can not carry humans on her back. She has a short tail and long bill and is coloured oily green above, with white markings on the wings and tail, with a white collar around the neck. Being a Water Kingfisher, Jade has a natural affinity to the water element and is able to perform several water jutsus up to B-rank without hand seals (if any) as listed below. Only the following can be used by Jade as they can be/are released from the users mouth.
Water jutsu usable by Jade:
- Hidding in Mist Jutsu,
- Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field,
- Water Release: Water Bullet,
- Water Release: Water Gun,
- Water Release: Water Horn,
- Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave.
Notes:
- Jade remains on the field for 6 turns,
- Jade can only be summoned if the users has signed the Kingfisher contract and has the tattoo as proof of signing,
- Jade can not carry anyone on her back,
- Each jutsu Jade uses counts towards one of the three usable per turn,
- Jade can be summoned three times per battle with two turns cool down in between each of her summons.

Okay, the next one to summon is Leach. He is a somewhat larger bird who can carry one person on his back. He is a Kookaburra but can use many wind jutsu with out the use of hand seals. He also has a genjutsu that he uses quite often.

Now, to summon leach you'll have to do much the same you did for Jade. Only you'll need a bit more chakra and you must perform the Snake → Ram → Bird hand seals. Give it a go ^^

Once again, i bite my left thumb, and it begins to bleed again. "My poor thumb" i say as i quickly perform the Snake → Ram → Bird hand seals. I then slam my hands onto the ground once again, as i gather a large amount of chakra into my palms. As my palms make contact with the ground, i release all of the chakra, i manipulate it, spreading it carefully, forming the seal and Leach pops out of the seal.

Leach has an affinity for the Wind element and can perform up to A-rank wind jutsu without hand seals. Leach can only use the following wind jutsus by flapping his wing(s) or by releasing them through his mouth.

But first I must make sure that you know this... Jade can only use the jutsu listed as a part of the summoning jutsu, the same goes for Leach. Once again I stress that you cannot ride Jade but you can Ride Leach...

I jump on Leach and i order him to start flying. "Lets go Leach, show me what you got"

As Leach begins to fly, i command him to fly towards a forest close by. As we reach our destination, i command him to use Wind style: Pressure damage on the forest below us. Leach uses his winds to release a powerful stream of wind towards the forest. "Leach, you and i will become great friends"

I tend to like Leach a lot as he is a smart ass and like playing jokes like dispersing during flight xD

For this one you wont need hand seals, but instead you'll use a scroll. You'll need to use a scroll like this one *Tosses you a scroll with the Kingfisher tattoo on it*

For this just you'll need to unravel is and smear a line of blood across it. After injecting your chakra into the paper three summoning spots should appear and three Red-backed Kingfishers will fly out towards a target, where they will engulf themselves in flames and essentially run straight into the target.

Aim for that tree *points at a tree mid-range away* and give it a try...

Description: The user will first pull out a small scroll with the Kingfisher symbol on it, while also unravelling it and smearing a line of blood across the paper. The user will then inject there chakra into the paper and create three summoning spots on the page of which three Red-backed Kingfishers will simultaneously fly out from. These kingfishers will then coat their beaks in fire, as they have an affinity for fire chakra, which as they fly would create a flame shroud over their bodies. The three Kingfishers will then fly straight at an an opponent to stab them with their flaming beaks, dispersing on impact with the target. The Red-backed Kingfishers that are summoned will never be the same three as summoned before, they are just summoned from the same large collective back in their home bushland. The birds can either attack one target each, making three hits in total or they can focus their attack onto a single point of attack. If they attack one target each there attack would be equivalent to a B-rank fire attack. If they are instructed to attack the one point they will fly in an arrow formation making there attack equivalent to that of an A-rank fire attack.

As i begin to fall, i gather doton-infused chakra and i spread it through out my body. I then release my chakra, hardening my entire body and as i fall into the ground, i create a huge hole, due to my body being of solid rock.

After listening to my senpai's directions, i unravel the scroll. I then bite my left thumb once again, and it starts to bleed pretty bad. I then smear a line of blood across it, while at the same time gathering a large amount of chakra that i quickly channel to my palms. I inject all of that chakra into the scroll, summoning three Red-backed Kingfishers that fly out towards the three mid-range from us, they quickly engulf themselves in flames and they strike the three knocking it out and burning the area around.

Also don't worry they don't die. They basically return back to the forest a fraction before impact, leaving the flames to burn the target. So, aiming all three at one point makes the attack an A-rank fire jutsu. You can make the birds attack one target each but in each case the attack will be the equivalent of a B-rank fire jutsu.

When you summon them you must be able to see your target and have clear intentions in you mind as to what you are attacking, otherwise the summon will not work properly.

Now attack those three trees using one bird each. *Points to three trees, one in short range, one in mid-range and one in long range*

"Okay!" I scream.


I then unravel the scroll, and i bite my left thumb which is hurting like a bitch, and it starts to bleed again. I then smudge blood across the scroll, while gathering a large amount of chakra, that i send to my palms. I then send all of the chakra into the scroll, summoning the three Red-backed Kingfishers, that fly out of the scroll rapidly, as i command the first one to strike the tree that is long-range from us, the second one to strike the tree mid-range from us and the last one to strike the tree short-range from us, they return back after leaving the flames in the area, burning each tree.

O__O Why the scream? _@:

Now for the next summon, Augustine! A Giant Kingfisher, who has mastery over the fire element. You're going to try summoning him *shows you a sequence of five hand sels* using those hand seals and the usual summoning method to bring him here. Take note Augustine is substantially bigger than Leach and can be considered as one of the largest Kingfishers and as such would need a fair amount of chakra to summon.

"I have a lot of energy, I scream"

After listening to Shinta, i perform the five hand seals that were shown to me. I then bite my left thumb once again, and it starts to bleed. I then slam my hands on the ground, while at the same time gathering a massive amount of chakra, because now i'm summoning a larger kingfisher. After that i quickly channel my chakra into my palms. I send all of that chakra into the ground, summoning the large Kingfisher, Augustine!

I guess Augustine can carry more than one person right?

Description: After making a blood sacrifice and performing a sequence of five hand seals, the user will place the hand on the ground or facing the ground below them and release there chalra to create the summoning seal. This will summon Augustine the largest of the Kingfishers and he can be considered as the boss of all the other Kingfishers. Augustine has a large crest and finely spotted white on black upper-parts with a chestnut breast band and otherwise white underparts with dark flank barring. He is large enough to carry four people on his back being about two times larger than Sasuke's Hawk summon and has a the ability to speak with his summoner. Augustine has the ability to perform all Fire jutsu without hand seals by releasing them from his mouth or using his wings where the jutsu may state using an arm swing (all within reason as its clear that he will not be able to use ALL fire techniques). Twice per battle Augustine can coat his beak with fire chakra and dive at a target inflicting them with damage equivalent to that of an S-rank fire jutsu.
Notes:
- Must have signed the Kingfisher Contract,
- His Flame Diving attack can only be used twice per battle with three turns in between each use and S-ranked,
- Can be summoned once per battle
- Remains on the field for up to four turns per summon,
- The only exceptions to the fire jutsus usable by Augustine are the Flame Rasengan and ones that require ninja tools or scrolls to perform.

So, Augustine has mastery over fire (with a few exceptions, note description) and can coat his body in fire and charge at the target dealing the damage of an S-rank fire jutsu but only twice per match. He can also carry up to four people on his back, good if you're squad needs some transport xD
