Hey there, so I just found my Nintendo DS with Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days and I just began playing it.
Last time I've played KH was probably 10 years ago, and by that time, I couldn't really understand the story. But now I seem to understand it and it's super fun!

I just wanted to ask you KH fans some questions.

1. What is the chronological order of KH games? Like I'm playing this 358 game now and at least for the beginning the focus seems to be on Roxas. But from what I remember you could always play as Sora and with Disney characters and stuff...

2. Does Sora appear in this game?

3. Should I get Birth By Sleep for my PSP?

4. Will there be an PS4 game of KH? And if yes, when?

1) Birth By Sleep, KH1, Chain of Memories, 358/2 (it actually runs in parallel with CoM, but should be played after), KH2, Coded, Dream Drop Distance.

2) Yes, however he is not playable in the main story and is only unlockable for use in the Mission Mode.

3) You'd be better off getting 2.5 HD for PS3 so you can enjoy the HD version (if you have one, of course).

4) Yes, the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. No release date has been confirmed, but speculation has it put at a 2016 or early 2017 release.

I'm pumped for 2016 then, but unfortunately, I do not own a PS3 anymore. But Kingdom Hearts would be reason enough for me to buy one again. I just love it so much already, even though I'm just playing a DS game without joysticks and a weird camera XD

1. KH BBS KH1 KH COM/RE COM KH2 KH 3D and then KH3
2. Sora is not in the story 358/2 days is Roxas and Xion's story.
3. Yes its a great KH game and fun to play on the PSP. Get the 2.5 remix for PS3 if you want HD KH2 and BBS.
4. KH3 will be for PS4. I dont know when it will be released but I expect 2016 or 2017 and after FF15 is released.

he does in the cutscenes. you can also play as him but only in mission mode i think.
get the english patched final mix version if you're running cfw on your psp.

kh3d confused me lol. just watch the cutscenes for that and bbs if you want. i dont own a psp so thats what i did

If you don't want to play all games but want the whole story to play KH3 then I would suggest checking out a video on YouTube called Kingdom Hearts Timeline. They do a pretty good job of explaining all the games main stories and going into key things like the characters and where the story stands heading into 3.

But still even with the in-depth look it's still confusing because Kingdom Hearts is just confusing.
