Kingdom Hearts 2.5

Soooo Square Enix has announced a Kingdom Hearts 2.5 reMix. Sorta of like a remake of Kingdom Hearts 2. It looks pretty cool. I think the release date will be on December 2nd but we'll see. In the meantime, watch the trailer here:

how does it differ from the original KH2? loved it on PS2 and will probably get it again on PS3 just for the boss fights

Since Tetsuya Nomura has only recently been giving KHIII his full attention, what with him being the head director in FFXV, they are going to give Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance a remake before KHIII comes out. This is hinted at in the ending for 2.5 Re: Mix, showing one or two screenshots from HD scenes from KH DDD.

I know I can't wait for December 3rd, as Kingdom Hearts 2 has to be my fav game ever. And since it's the Final Mix, I'll finally get to fight the Data Org XIII Members. TT_______TT

The Remixes are a lot of fun, with new visuals, new boss fights, new key blades, not to mention, remade versions of the hand held games. I am unbelievably stoked to play 2.5 remix. All of the time he is spending on making all of these remixes is to not only tie all of the stories together perfectly. But to also make sure that Kingdom Hearts 3 is better than anyone could ever hope for. It will be the end of the Xehanort saga, but the beginning of the new Kingdom Hearts series that WILL be replacing the Final Fantasy series some day. The story is so intense and amazing. I can wait for a dream drop distance remake as well! Prodigious.

KINGDOM HEARTS IS WONDERFUL, I wish I could show you guys my Kingdom hearts tattoos. theyre epic. XD

I understand 1.5 combined KH1 and a console version of Chain of Memories, correct? so what will be combined with KH2 for 2.5? also, KH has my all time favorite battle system. Im hoping FFXV uses a similar system

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 had not only a console version of Chain of Memories, but also one for 358/2 days! Both amazing games. but I am assuming that they will be having a remake of the MASSIVE game of Birth by Sleep for console version in the KH 2.5 Remix

eh?? so 1.5 is actually 3 games? I started my KH journey with Chain, then KH2, so I never bothered with KH1. but this new info makes 1.5 worthwhile. . . okay, Ima get it. now I just need to find a retailer. thanks

No problem my friend! They are totally worth the while! I'm sort of a nut when it comes to this series though, So I am pretty biased when it comes to rooting for it. lol But It is amazing in my opinion sir. Best of luck fellow Keyblader.

I mean I'm sure they're fun, but I've just played the shit out of kingdom hearts 1&2. I'm fulfilled on that story and difficulty levels.

But a whole console generation went by of them releasing this stuff instead of the third game, so I'm a little salty.
