I figured it out. King of the Hill is the future of Beavis and Butthead only the focused has shifted from the dynamic duo to Hank Hill, the illegitimate son of their neighbor Tom Anderson, who was raised by his mother and Cotton Hill. Dale is the grown up Beavis and Bill is the grown up Butthead. Boomhauer is the agent that was assigned to follow them after the incidents in Beavis and Butthead Do America.
