Naraka Path was never stated to only work on corpses, Nagato wasn't even the original wielder of the dojutsu so for him to be capable of fixing his legs years after the accident was highly unlikely.

Naraka Path never fixed Nagato's legs though, neither was that even stated? :| Although it's a higher probability that Kabuto might have restored Nagato's legs just like he made enhancements to Madara's body also. :hmm:

It can't regenerate limbs and it obviously can't heal paralysis or Nagato would have used it to fix his legs. It seems it can only heal bodily injuries inflicted in battle, but does not restore flesh.

If Sasuke really wanted a new arm, he would have done the same as Naruto and let Tsunade craft him a Zetsu arm. The reason he did not do this is pride. He leaves the arm missing to remember the past and deal with the loss.
