I hope you isn't serious. I believe you are referring to oil from the Nidaime Mizukage, and not the 100% H20 from Ame. Show me when water specifically hinders him, because to my understanding Gaara was using gold sand for a while, which is twenty times heavier than water. Gold Sand > Wet Sand in weight.

Yea, I've always had a problem with that, but when I had a Gaara bio I was just starting so I didn't mind.

Mizukage's Oil is what makes Gaara's sand useless not water. That filler had nothing to support that statement with Water. I think even Cali knows that though. He use to approve Gaara bios that said their sand can be manipulated when wet.

yeah seems they lack good land to draw from. either way it depends on what you intned to use the bio for maybe just battles in deserts or desserts or deserting.
