I feel bad for Guy for surviving that thanks to Naruto, even though it's a blessing.

But think about it, his leg is broken, he has no foot, his skin is burned (could be repaired ), and every muscle is ripped to shreds now.

If the least he can do is breath, he will spend his entire life time in a wheelchair watching Rock Lee. And probably never fight ever again.

Death is a better way for someone like Guy to go.

Gai dont need to die, he deserve to die! Naruto need to let him go, and let his sacriface be worth something, it will suck for Gai to be revived only to see Madara laughing at his face.
