He would still have a lot of trouble, IIRC, he got buried like five times and one hit from Tsunade, a kage level shinobi, spells death for him. Kimimaro isn't as fast as some people make him out to be. He certainly can't blitz Tsunade.
Ridiculous. Gaara is also a Kagelevel Shinobi, his Sabaku Soso is supposed to crush people; his Sabaku Taiso is an even stronger form, and yet Kimimaro survived both without getting damage. Both of them possess moves able to crush the other with one strike, Kimimaro however is the one with more durability and also speed.

Kimimaro died of his sickness, in a healthy state, as it is given here, he would've killed both, Part I Gaara (after Chunin Exams) and Lee ;D.

There, corrected.
There's a power difference between current Gaara and part I Gaara, Lee is the same since he doesn't have any feats in part 2.

omg the Tsunade being Hokage arguement
let's see Hiruzen could have choose her anytime but he stucked between Minato and Oro
the elders wanted Jiraiya but he refused
conclusion: Tsunade is not hokage level or low Hokage level at most

.....Or she's of the kage powerlevel and just didn't have the personality of a kage?

Tsunade wins, but only because of rebirth. I highly doubt she would be able to land a blow on him under regular circumstances

Why would someone who isn't kage level be chosen as Hokage then?
Minato and Oro were the best options during that time.
Also, was Tsunade able to heal the whole village back then? No. Was she ever eager to achieve that status? No. Why would Hiruzen choose her like that. Oro was his favourite student and he raised and trained him in order to have someone to pass the Hokage title, he wanted Oro to be it from the beggining until he got corrupted, then the best he came up with was Minato who served his role perfectly.
Plus, if it wasn't for Shizune all the paperwork wouldn't be dealt with, i'm sure.

even after Minato died he didn't choose anyone because neither her nor Jiraiya compared to those two, I'm not saying she isn't strong but you can't really compare her to the previous four Hokages

Minato didn't choose anyone because he died before he could. Jiraya was never Hokage because he didn't want to, or better, he was constantly searching for Oro and later, Akatsuki. For this he had to walk around the world and couldn't fullfil the job by leaving Konoha whitout its leader and presumably its best shinobi.
Tsunade is the weakest Hokage power wise, true, but she's very capable of taking care of her village.

Kabuto said himself that Kimimaro cannot be defeated in 1 on 1 combat. And Kabuto was beating a rusty Tsunade. Just putting this out there.

There's a power difference between current Gaara and part I Gaara, Lee is the same since he doesn't have any feats in part 2.
Part 1 Gaara poses more of a treat for Kimimaro than Tsunade at her current level.

The offense speaks for itself: [ ][ ]

Such as the defense do, that allows him to block all of Kimimaros attacks: [ ][ ] + he can fly, what protected him from Kimomaros last attack. Now to come to Kimimaros abilities.

Durability
Kimimaros durability is enormously. Sabaku Soso, that is supposed to fully crush people [ ] was survived by Kimimaro easily [ ][ ], he even survived Sabaku Taiso, a by far stronger technique that uses sand masses of the quantity of a surrounding, without getting harmed [ ][ ]. Gaara called him to be something monstrous, as he was able to survive such attacks [ ]. Heck, he even survived being buried 200 meters deep with Gaara claiming that such a pressure wouldn't allow him to move a single finger [ ].

Taijutsu and speed
His Taijutsu and speed is indeed incredible, latter surpasses Tsunades significantly. A group of Narutos Kagebunshins, strengthened with Kyuubis Chakra, were eliminated consequently [ + the following pages]. He kept up with a drunken Lee who used his first gates in terms of Taijutsu and speed pretty easily, and Gaaras sand was avoided with as little effort, too [ ][ ].

Offense
His offense is not only limited to powerful attacks like the Tessenka no Mai: Hana for short range [ ], but also techniques like Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru for mid range [ ] and finger bullets for long range [ ]. The physical power he possesses in Juin 2 allows him to break through Gaaras defenses effortlessly [ ][ ][ ], and as if this wasn't enough, his arsenal is expanded with a Ninjutsu that allows him to immediately cover the surroundings with a forest of bones that are shooting out of the ground, in order to pierce anything it gets [ ][ ]. In this case, the bone spear and bone forest would leave her killed. His bodycheck with his bones ahead, that pushed away Gaara through his defense, would at least leave Tsunade badly injured.

Defense
Apart from Kimimaros durability and speed, his Kekkei Genkai is a good counter for Tsunades fighting style, a it allows to counter Taijutsu to a high extent by not only averting the victims attacks, but also leave violations on him [ ], bones can be grown by him from any part of his body, allowing to even let the bones sprouting from his whole body[ ][ ] and even the speed and power of Lee was damped completely [ ], leaving him in a situation where he is unable to move and about to be killed by a precise hit [ ].

Furthermore, Kimimaro is blessed with regenerative abilities, given him along with his Kekkei Genkai, that not only controls the growth of bones but also cells. The number of his bones is supposed to be unlimited. He further explains, that his Kekkei Genkai allows him to control the density of calcium, making his bones being harder than steel. His regeneration feats are proven, when he is regenerating his body after taking out bones [ ].

In summary, Kimimaro isn't inferior to Tsunade in any meanings. His Taijutsu rivals her, his speed surpasses her. He also possesses regeneration abilities, that however don't require any seals or waste of Chakra, but are a naturally part of his Kekkei Genkai Consequently, neither wounds or smashed bones will pose a problem for Kimimaro, who will render that useless. His durability is enormous and his offense rivals and even surpasses Tsunades, too, as he has Taijutsu moves for close to long range and a large scale Ninjutsu that can change the surroundings, with a power able to killing the victim with one strike. Of course, Tsunade has proven to smash a body with one punch and even crack Susanoos ribcage, but as Kimimaros strongest offensive techniques are not the always used, those scales of Tsunades attacks are also not the always used, proved when she was beating up Orochimaru without latter getting knocked completely down and Madara surviving a usual kick of Tsunade without getting hurt [ ] - forms of attacks, that however can be avoid by Kimimaro by simply dodging or shooting out bones out of his body. Even if one of Tsunades strongest punches will hit him, he is backed up with his regenerative abilities, hard as steel bones that can grow again and even create an armor of bones that make him survive Sabaku Soso and Sabaku Saiso. Once being hit with one of Kimimaros strongest techniques, Tsunade will die; to come to her regeneration, that requires her seal and has to be activated and yet doesn't preserves her from Kimimaros strongest attacks.

IT WAS A ****ING CLONE People need to stop using that to showcase Her Strength And Kimi is not as big a target as tsunade .. He It would be an intense Taijutsu Battle But Kimi eventually Decapitates Her
Pretty much. Kimimaro can beat her in taijutsu plus he has sword and can even shot bullets among other things. If he manages to cut her head off or nail one bullet there its over

Once being hit with one of Kimimaros strongest techniques, Tsunade will die; to come to her regeneration, that requires her seal and has to be activated and yet doesn't preserves her from Kimimaros strongest attacks.

So I'd like to start off with the strongest of Kimmimaro's techniques. Dance of the Seedling Fern.
The most important thing to note is that in order to make it grow he must be stationary, touching the ground. And unless he's buried then his bones will come in a very set pattern and with seemingly less bones than if would put out if he had time to allow them to grow over the entire battlefield. Why is him being stationary a problem. Well there are a few options. One, Tsunade can obviously cover large distance in a quick period of time.
Which means while he is stationary he could be subject to attack, or the even scarier scenario in this case for him, he'd be prey to Katsuyu's acid. Dance of the seedling fern is a jutsu best utilized when underground. When above ground its effectiveness is limited because bones can only come from hands and feet into the ground. Which limits the number of bones he can use for that jutsu at any specific time in addition those body parts are known not to be the strongest bones at all.

For the first second, and third dances, I will not claim that Tsunade will avoid all injury or even that she would try to but, I would argue the extent to which her byakugou heals would render those wounds superficial in comparison to what she has already tanked. The problem with Tsunade tanking, is that she usually does so as a means to open one up for counter attacks. One of which Kimi really couldn't handle.

Now for his durability, you will note that what protected him from Gaara's sand jutsu was his bones. However, his strongest bones shattered against Gaara's sand shield. Why is that important. Yes, Gaara's shield was strong but if you tap a sword against a wall it will not break. That means he himself, without super strength gathered enough strength to shatter the strongest bone he could make. He was the source of force that caused breakage. So the idea, that he would stand up to Tsunade's blows is a stretch for me.

Also for you speed feats area you used a naruto who was rather slow, in fact one who wasn't much improved from the one that Tsunade drunkenly defeated with a single finger. He speed was never that great in part 1. And if I can remember correctly drunken Lee still hadn't fully recovered from his injuries and had snuck on the mission from the hospital. And could not use his gates.
While Kimmimaro does have certain regenerative abilities, they pale in comparison to Tsunade. As demonstrated by Jiraiya a very real threat with Tsunade is damage to internal organs. Something we are not sure he can overcome.

I'm confused "beating up Orochimaru without latter being knocked down"?

Beyond this, Kimi would have no defense to BPD and should he get hit with it. Then he wouldn't even be able to decide which bones grow where. He'd be no good to himself. And he has no answer for Katsuyu or her acid.

I'd also like to point out that Tsunade is not just limited to her strong fist style but could also fight like medical ninja. When she compared Kabuto to her in order to be a comparison of any worth she had to be comparing their ability to fight with chakra scalpels. Which isn't hard to believe. The more damanding question is the question Tsunade asked Kabuto. Why he didn't go for the heart. In that question it was loaded with the idea that she could. If it was a task that she had not been able to do herself, there would have been little reason to ask such a question. And now that Kabuto's skill with the chakra scalpels have improved he's been seen to cut people in half with them. So the idea of hitting the heart with them isn't the least bit absurd.

While I think Tsunade would evade Dance 4, Dance of the Clematis vine, if she didn't he could be opening up a world of trouble as he would turn into her ragdoll with her being able to throw him anywhere she pleased. The Susanoo swords were obviously a bigger threat than the Clematis flower. But I doubt she would allow herself to get hit by him and would rather indulge a scenario similar to Raikage vs Sasuke in which Flower is the elbow and Chakra scalpels, or her strength or BPD is chidori. And should BPD at any point connect he'd be dead meat due to the two different types of Offensive Medical Ninjutsu (OMN)

So to conclude,
While his durability is great, it is no greater thank his strongest bone, the one he broke with his own power.
While his speed is impressive, it doesn't say particularly much especially not enough to call Tsunade outmatched considering she has her share of speed feats
His first three dances are nifty but against a character who can susanoo swords and yasaka magatamas such damage is fodder
His fourth dance can be used against him.
His fifth dance is only at it's most powerful underground, and even still she has an answer to it.
He has no answer for her summon.
He must avoid her strength and be wary of her changing to using chakra scalpels
If BPD hits he's done
He can regenerate but nothing says he has the skill repair his vital organs.
She has much greater stamina than him and can easily outlast him, even with his curse seal
While he can shoot finger bullets they do not move faster than one can percieve, and do not move faster than Part 1 gated Lee so I imagine she'd evade them like she's evaded other projectiles.

I will fill in the places where I intend to put scans but I'm kind of sleepy and I have two more essays to write before I can go to bed #collegelife
