]. Can Kimimaro's bones be considered as a perfect defense? If so, what is it's weakness?

It appears to be harder than a samurai's sword [

]. It may be one of the best jutsu (strategically speaking) as it can be utilized in both offense and defense; as said before. Of course, the point of a "Perfect Defense" was to never be broken etc. If anything could be described as "perfect" it would be Madara's Susano'o, as "perfect" is in the title. Then again, it has been shown to be broken, but that may be a limit of the user, but not the jutsu itself.

Well.. I dont think he will be able to cover himself in bones, there will always be an opening to strike him I think.

Yes, I do believe there are ways to get by it. I believe it's weakness would be Raiton, as it would electrocute pass the bones.

Aside from jokes,i think that it depends on his opponent..some of the jonin and a bove characters can take him on easily..I think magma and electricity could be a good way to deal with him though,to answer your question!

Kimimarou arguably has one of the best defences in the manga however even thought kimimarou is able to adjust the sensity of his bones if someone with enough power comes a long im sure they could break them... maybe not easily but thats not the point lol Bone release is deffinetly one of the best KKG we have seen so far imo

i would still say Gaara has the best defence thanks to its versatility

EDIT: Everyone keeps saying Doton or Raiton however i dont think this would quite be enough it would all depend on the oponent IMO the best element to go against Kimimarou would be Suiton as it would get through all of the gaps in kimimarou's defence

i doubt it protects from elemental damage. I'd say his weakness is heat and electric shock :/

Kimimaro's defense will get destroyed by many things even if Kimimaro had no limitations. The weakness of the bones is that bones are not very hard at all.

this is where Kimimarou is different... even Rock lee mentioned how they wasnt normal... Kimimarou can change the density of his bones

Sufficient force or piercing ability should be able to actually break through his bone armor. Also, energy attacks should still harm him and blunt trauma would still cause him internal damage.

Attacks that would cause major damage to Kimimaro would include:

Fire and lightning style jutsu
Chidori/Raikiri piercing ability
Susanoo attacks
Tsunade/Sakura strength
Jinton (obviously)
Pa/Ma's water jet jutsu
Rasenshuriken
Possibly rasengan due to the amount of internal damage it would cause from the force from it
TBB (duh lol)
Meteor jutsu
ect

Basically high level, high damage jutsu would cause damage to Kimimaro despite his armor. He is still hard to deal with and was an awesome character.

A jutsu I would call perfect however, would be like you said Madara's PS, Shin Suusen Tu, Rasenshuriken, Creation of all things, Jinton

If you look closely some of his pressure points are still vulnerable. Some one skilled like Tsunade, Kabuto can take it out.

As of short range and taijutsu & mid range projectiles yes its perfect
Long distance spiritual/fluid/ethereal are its weakness

Example A: gentle fist can't connect do to protruding sharp bones causing injury to the offender
Example B: sand tsunami works because it swallows everything & gets inbetween the bones gaps

Tho I expressed kimimaro's weakness don't see that as a major point because speed & endurance are to of his greatest traits & complements his bone defense so long range & fluid like attacks aren't too much of a threat
